Size Surge

Me and my friend did Size Surge about 2 years ago, and we got great results. It was a decent program. Anyways, I lost my little book for Size Surge part 1 and was wondering if anyone here has it, and could post the routine for it again. Or hell, if you have Size Surge 2 and want to post the routines for that, thatd be awesome too :D

Don't own the books, though in my mission to try every training protocol I'll probably at some point buy them. Ironman magazine has a running column where they give routines based on the much the same principles so take a look there. Or just order the book again. It ain't expensive.

Oh yeah, as far as I remember Size Surge is based on the Colorado experiment Arthur Jones conducted with Casey Viator. His workouts were eccentric-only, which I very much doubt Size Surge advocated, but if you search for the routine used by Jones it's probably very similar to SS's.

What were the results of eccentric only training? I would assume they went well since you would be able to really load up the bar so the extra weight would force the muscle to adapt.

If I recall correctly, Viator put on something like 63 lbs of muscle in 4 weeks(and I think lost 20 or so lbs of fat), and did only 30 or so minutes of exercise a week(This is the total TUL, not workout time) Of course, he had been in an accident prior to the beginning of the experiment, and Jones had further paid him for each pound of muscle he had lost prior to commencing the program. Still the results were quite astonishing. Viator denies having used steroids, and I tend to belive him. At the end Jones had to use a forklift to raise the weight for Viator when he performed the leg press.
