Yep.....we targeted to be 135-138ish.

I think by the time we dry her down, S will hit 132ish

I have giant blisters on both heels. I can't get rid of them. (they showed up when I started doing incline...) I've been taping them, but can't seem to get them to go away.

I'm going to dig out my old pair of running shoes tomorrow and wrap both feet with tape + ace bandages. After cardio, I'm going to come home and walk around barefoot so those puppies will dry out.

If anyone has any other suggestions, please feel free to add them.
 
I would try "New Skin" they have it at walgreens...It stings like nothing you have ever tried before!!!

I solved my problem. Went to Walmart and bought some of those XL bandades with anti-biotic ointment in them. Stuck them on my heels and taped over them, then put my old, more comfortable shoes on and had no problems this morning.

Except that I'm officially running out of gas. I hit the 40 minute mark this morning and crashed. I dropped the speed down from 4 to 3 for the last 15 minutes this morning. I'm pooped.

I can give you before and afters of my butt if you want. lolol Everyone on EF has seen my ass, so it's not that big of a deal. :D Let me do some digging through my pic files and see if I can come up with a really early butt pic...

my butt and legs are blessed by genetics, if you consider being built like a fire plug "blessed". :D

However, I have done a ton of

step ups (both from the side and from the back of the step)
static lunges with back leg elevated
side lunges
sumo squats
box squats
kick squats
plyometrics

...for years. Not with super heavy weight. Most weight I've ever used for step ups, lunges, etc is about 40-50lbs. usually 1/2 that, with high reps and lots of pulses at the end of each set.

I think the smaller in height...the person the better butt they have plump and round!!!
Hard to find a tall gal with round natural melons!!!

IMO, the best investment you can make for workouts at home is:

The FIRM workout series. The newer ones. not the old 80's ones. lol
Buy the set with 3 dvd's - the dark pinkish ones. (Ebay has the set for $50 or so new.)

You can order the newest dvd's in a set with a step. The FIRM incorporates weights and cardio together with a big emphasis on lower body/butt. You'll need 3 sets of dumbells. Go to K-mart or Walmart and buy a 5lb, 8lb, and 10lb set. Trust me, it's all you'll need for a while with these videos. When you get stronger, go buy a set of 12lb and 15lbers.

I did these workouts for 2 years at home and it made HUGE changes in my physique.

And yes, I agree that the FIRM is a GREAT product! That's what I was having the most success with just before I started doing my morning cardio and major weightlifting in the gym just over a year ago. It's still the only at-home cardio I'd recommend to people. I still remember how those step moves made my butt hurt... oof!!!

I think that's more about trust (listening to you) - drive to work through pain, exhaustion or other limiting factors is what makes an athlete.

Aside from the 'stuff' I cannot really comment on (b/c I am in the dark with all of it AS) I already know what diet & training advice from S helped do for me in the past. The two of you made this work and thank you both for sharing your progress with all the others on here ... I know it has helped many people in the inspiration/motivation dept., or so Ive heard..

Best wishes to you at your show, the support from your trainer in the audience, along with the friends/fam will be remarkable... I wish I could be there to see it :heart:

There are VERY FEW people I trust 100%. Shadow is one of those people. It's a wonderful feeling - not having to second guess someone all the time or worry that they don't know wtf they're doing. lolol

I would NEVER have been able to get here on my own. I just don't know enough yet. I am very thankful. :heart:

True story:

I did 4 years in the Army. Went through basic training before they turned it into "co-ed low stress" basic training. lolol meaning that basic training was still hell when I went through it. Crying only made them single you out.

I learned a lot about myself during basic training. I found that I performed well under pressure, and that no one was harder on me than I was on myself. We wer sleep deprived, hungry, scared, sore, and under scrutiny every second of every day for 3 months. One by one, every woman in my platoon broke under the pressure and balled their eyes out - except for me. My PT scores kept getting better, I received perfect marks on all my tests, both in the field and on paper.

When we graduated, our head drill sargeant gave me his brown, scary drill sargeant hat. He told me I earned it - (and that they make it their goal with every new platoon that they get to break them down and make them cry. lolol) I still have that hat. It's my proudest posession. :)

Don't get me wrong - I wanted to cry. lolol I just kept saying to myself "those fucking bastards. No way will they see ME cry. fuckers. :evil: " Swear to God. I can still hear that voice in my head.\

I can also still hear the whiny voices of all the other women complaining al the damn time. jeezus. stfu and just do it.

True story:

I did 4 years in the Army. Went through basic training before they turned it into "co-ed low stress" basic training. lolol meaning that basic training was still hell when I went through it. Crying only made them single you out.

Those DI's are some seriously mean sonofabitches, takes a helluva lot to earn their respect.

Diet/Training/Cardio for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday



MEAL 1 - Extended release shake 40 grams of Casein/whey protein (GNC Pro Performance PM Protein) in 3 CUPS water
1/2 tbsp anpb




Meal Two
4 egg whites
2 yolks(sprinkle of salt)
3 CUPS water



Meal Three
4 oz chicken breast (sprinkle of salt)
1 tsp Hunan Red Chili Sauce (H-O-T!)
3 cups spinach with salad spritzer
3 CUPS water



Meal Four
BSN Lean Dessert, 1.5 scoops - in 3 CUPS water
50 g sweet potato



Meal Five
3 oz chicken breast(sprinkle of salt)
1 cup cooked brocolli
1 tsp Hunan Red Chili Sauce (H-O-T!)
3 CUPS water


Meal Six
Extended release shake 40 grams of Casein/whey protein (GNC Pro Performance PM Protein) in 3 CUPS water
1/2 tbsp anpb
1 PureCEE



AM CARDIO:
75 minutes steady state
The same ab circuit as we have been using
3 CUPS WATER - with sprinkle of salt

PM CARDIO
45 minutes steady state
Complete posing routine(the 90 second one) 5 times
15 minutes in sauna after posing - work on stretching while in there
3 CUPS WATER - again with some sodium added


Daily Training:

Leg Extensions
Lying Leg Curls
Pulldowns(narrow - palms facing each other grip)
Cable cross overs - finishing eye level
Dumbbell/Machine Press
WIDE grip pushdowns straight bar
Cable Curls


.......work as a slow giant set.....meaning run through the exercises but don't worry about keeping rest intervals down....we want you to tire on a muscular level...not a plumonary level. These high reps are to suck the muscle glycogen as we drop carbs.


Do three cycles.....20 reps MINIMUM - 30 would be even better - 2-3 TUT....



Other daily sups as we have been running EXCEPT



T3....bump dosage up by 12.5 mg.....that should be 75 mcg

Winny....INCREASE to 3mg/day

Var - INCREASE to 7.5 mg/day

Work the YES 3x per day while you cut carbs......add a slather before bed if you arent hitting it then.


NO MORE TANNING PAST TUESDAY.


NO SHAVING/WAXING PAST THURSDAY

Today, I will live in the gym. Well, the next three days, actually. :D

That would be so awesome but I really can't plan beyond next week - I've got my 2 hot job opps in San Fran -- HOPEFULLY-- coming up in the next few weeks. I coudlnt' even tell you where I'll be in May, much less Oct. But the good news is that if I'm in San Fran, then Cabo is ohhhhh so doable...!
