speaking of pump room. they have a women's and a men's pump 'room'. I get to the women's section and they have stretch bands and 8lb weights. LOL!! I said "Hey, look at the little baby weights!" and all the figure girls gave me 'THE LOOK'. :EVIL: LOLOLOL

So, I nosed right in with the open men's group and used their weights. The other women bbers followed me over ther, and when they saw that I wasn't getting bashed about, they joined me. :)

it was fun. :) the 'pose down' was kind of a joke. 3 seconds and they sent us off the stage. lol


ok - this is what they did.

no individual posing at all. they did comparison and mandatories at the same time. when it was over, they said "put on some pose down music" and that's what we were supposed to do. I got through 1.5 poses and they sent us off the stage. duh. :nerd:

They had a billion figure girls to go through, is what I think. holy :cow: - there must have been 60 of them. I'm pretty sure there were more figure girls than total bb competitors. seriously.

tonight is posing routines, only. order is:

masters 40, 50, 60
women bbers

and the rest of em'.



athlete meeting at 6pm - event starts at 7pm. I hope they don't make us wait until it's all over to hand out trophies. I'm hungry, dammit. I wanna leave so I can go eat.

I left after like the 5th group of figure girls came up. They all look the same anyway. Too boring. Some of the guys were hilarious. There was one in his red little g-string and he kept turning the wrong way.
Where are you going out tonight?????

she was pretty big. I don't mean tall, either. I'm going to estimate that she was a good 40 lbs overweight.

Yea, the setup they have is always a little different - my last show the pump up room was a conference room w/ no mirrors - they put up all these cheesie back-of-the-door mirrors from KMart, brown wrapping paper on the floor I guess to save the carpet from protan & oil, and a couple of weights. The girls & guys pumped up in there. The figure girls didn't pump up. Sometimes I think its best to come prepared w/ your own set of bands - more than just 5 lb resistance....

Sounds like they didnt' have any expeditors w/ PAM huh?

Well you look solid. I hope they do the full show tonite!
 
Sally - Pic 1 is our favorite of all of those.......that picture has a classic sense to it.

Great application on the make-up, well done on the defined eyes(that was Ilk)...lol

I just cropped all of the pics I took. They have all 3 of you competing in there so you can see the comparison. I feel bad for those other two you are up against.

all the bb women got together out back and lubed each other up. :D I brought a can of PAM and another girl had something else. We shared. :rainbow:

your description of the pump rooms is exactly what they have at this show. women's is smaller than men's , but with 9000 more people in it.

Tell Ilk that all they had for eyelashes were the full ones - so I had to buy tarantula eyes. lol I don't know my way around San Diego enough to find what she wanted me to get.

everyone was SO NICE, though. I think that's what's making this such a good experience for me. We helped each other through the whole thing.

Oh Shortie you have so got this licked.The photos that Jamielynn posted show that you have no contest with the other girls.
Also you look so professional up there like your a seasoned pro not an ameteur. You would never know that this was your first show.

Sally....you QWNED each of those poses.

One of the ltwt girls looks good but you are:

1 - Denser
2 - More symmetrical
3 - Have better overall conditioning.....her abs are her best bodypart and STILL not as good as yours.



....during the posedown - ignore her - stay center stage and make her come to you.

that will be perceived as weakness on her part(and it will be).

She will try to compare abs with you.....thats fine....when she does do the quad wiggle and hit the pose.....that will draw the attention away from her BEST bodypart(still not as good as yours) and to her WORST bodypart(legs).


Slam Dunk.......throw a most muscular in there as well at least once during the posedown.....no friggin way she can compete with that.


Remeber those two things and it will not be close

Great pics JL!! I agree Sally, you look so comfortable & natural up there.......if you don't even look at symmetry & conditioning - your posing is just better than the others and you look like you belong there more....
 
Well this is an easy one. The other girls both have weird proportions due to incomplete conditioning and they both pose like they aren't comfortable.... at all ...

no - they're good. Better than ours - Jeff was closer and had problems getting all of them together.

I'm so excited for you! :elephant: Can't wait to hear how the posedown goes and with Shadow's tips, it's like you have a secret weapon. In our home, we both just said you blow everyone away and I also agree with all the ladies that you look the most POISED, relaxed, comfortable -- such an inspiration! :)
 
The only person on that stage that can show you some challenge is the lightweight on the far right in the purple / blue outfit. And that's only "some" challenge.

I was gonna say something in the pump area but you looked so focused, i didn't want to disturb your chi, lol. you looked good, your routine was more exciting in person than on the web. you looked real good under the lights too. i'm no judge or anything but your back was killing hers, especially your back double bi's. I think the only place she got you at was the legs, she had some serious wheels.
