AM CARDIO
35 minutes on the bicycle. Random setting with minimum level @7
calories burned = 317

ABS

STRAIGHT SETS BUT REST ONLY 45-60 SEONDS BETWEEN SETS - 3 SETS EACH

HANGING LEG RAISES - 30 REPS
DECLINE CRUNCHES - 30 REPS
BICYCLE WITH UPPER BODY MOTION - ONE MINUTE
LYING LEG SCISSORS(HEELS NO MORE THAN 6-9 INCHES FROM THE FLOOR) - ONE MINUTE

-------------------

PM WORKOUT

STIFF ARM PULLDOWNS
2 X 12/50
1 X 12/60
1 X 12/50

SEATED CABLE ROWS WITH ROPE - PULLING HIGH(BETWEEN CHEST AND CHIN)
1 X 12/50
2 X 12/60
1 X 12/50

MODIFIED WIDE GRIP PULLDOWNS(SHRUG DOWNS).......take a shoulder width grip on bat and FULLY extend ares so that they are straight. KEEP ARMS STRAIGHT and attemp to do the first 1/5 of a pulldown.....by rotating the shoulder a bit...you will be able to move the bar just a few inches......start with 50% of your normal pulldown weight...once you get the feel......you can top out at over 100% of the your normal pulldown weight.

These were fun. I used my wrist hooks so my hands wouldn't get tired.
1 x 12/100
3 x 12/130

REVERSE DIPS - like the modified pulldowns....you get on a set of dip bars....arms extended....by allowing the midback muscles to relax WHILE YOUR ARMS ARE LOCKED.....you will drop a few inches.....contract the midback muscles(TRAPS) to get back to the fully extended position. AT THE BOTTOM...your traps should be in the same postion as the top part of a shrug.

These were fun, too. I got the shakes pretty bad toward the end of each set, but didn't lose strenght. I probably could have done them with weight added.
4 x 12

CHIN BAR HANGS......wide grip on a chinning bar - use wrist straps if necessary....do hangs as long as possible...be sure to completely decompress with each set....obviously no reps....just a hold on as long as possible.

Used my hooks again. these felt good on my back - a nice stretch. My wrists started to hurt before my back got tired.

-----------------------

I really enjoyed this workout. It was something entirely new and it felt good. One of the guys that works out every night the same time I do asked to try the rows I was doing. I'd just finished my 4th set, so let him have a go at it. He couldn't believe how much they hurt, and how he had to drop his weight way down. lol

My chest is sore. Not as sore as last week, but still sore. lower and outer. I felt it when I was doing the rows, and when on the dip bars.

Jeff just did it.

He repeated each site until he started getting consistant readings:

chest = 3
abdominal = 5
thigh = 13
tricep = 3
Subscapular = 9
Suprailiac = 5
Midaxillary = 5

weight = 146
age = 34
bf = 11.12%
fat = 16.23 lbs
lean mass = 129.77 lbs

:( I was hoping it was lower.

Andy (trainer from my gym) had real calipers ready for me when I got to the gym tonight. He also had a ginormous book with pictures on how to take a 7 site test. :) Apparently, he'd been doing his homework since I saw him this morning.

He did the 7 site and took several readings per site. His were:

chest = 3
abdominal = 5
thigh = 11
tricep = 4
Subscapular = 6
Suprailiac = 6
Midaxillary = 6

bf = 10.76%
fat = 15.70 lbs
lean mass = 130.30 lbs

------------

so - they were pretty close. Andy wants to 'practice' on me every week. I'll have Jeff practice, too - and I'll post both sets of numbers.

Good morning, TSO! :wavey: I tried your protein brownie trick last night with Cinnamon Roll PP. YUM!!! I'll be making a mint chocolate chip one tonight. :lmao:

I know - it sounds like I'm whining, huh? :D lol I don't mean it to be that way. If I'm looking at the big picture, I'm very happy with myself and how I look. No complaints - in fact, I feel blessed at this time in my life.

this is the first time I've gone through this - so when I make comments on things like my ass or whatever, it's because it's all new to me:

First time my bf has been this low
First time I've been in ths good of shape
First time I've had to pose

etc, etc, etc

I'm probably also getting nervous. I don't walk around all day wringing my hands or anything, but I still feel it. So - if it seems I need to be bitch slapped to bring me back to normal - please do so. :qt:
No, no-no-no-no-no-no, not whining ... I'm just a HUGE believer in the power of thought. The more you look for loose skin the more you're gonna see it.

Your nerves are definitely going to start to jangle and it's absolutely understandable. And your body is changing in such dramatic ways I can't imagine what it's like for you. I've never been privy to watching this sort of a transformation on a day to day basis, thanks to your honesty, the detail of this log and the way you're training, this has to be an eye opener for a lot of us, and it's absolutely amazing to me. The only thing I can compare it to is what happens to a woman's body in pregnancy, it's THAT dramatic. It really is a creation.

I can't imagine you ever walked around wringing your hands, ever. One of the things I really admire about you (and the majority of the women on this board) is that they don't piss their time away beating themselves up over shit they can't change, they take care of what needs taking care of and they keep on keeping on :qt:

...yep...its just nerves...once you have been dieting fot this long, you tend to lost perspective on how you are REALLY doing. All the skin pinches are super low except the thigh......BUT - you know you are losing there, so it is literall the last place it will come off....I think some of that is actually water as well...which will come off.

The 2 bf piche tests were absolutely as tight as possible when you have two folks doing them.....thats great news.

Fantstic job on the workouts.....Its tought to get the form on those modified shrug downs and rev dips - expect some soreness in the midback/trap areas today.

you have a TOTAL of 15 pounds of fat.

To get from 10ish% BF down to 7ish% means a loss of about 3% BF....at 150ish pounds - thats only about 5 pounds.

6 weeks = 5 pounds.

you are in a fantastic position this far out.

The real Thiomucase is made by Almirall. You can buy it in Europe, UK, Mexico, etc - but not in the US.

Jeff and I are going across the border today - (I can see Mexico from my backyard). I'll see if they carry it.

Yes...but make sure of the expiry date......

You could get in the US until a couple of years ago......Im not 100% sure that they are still making it

ie - could be counterfeit

I'll check it out - we have a meeting with clients at 2 - then we'll run across. We have to get some meds for Jeff's brother, anyway - so I'm not making a special trip.

Thiomucase --- the formula was sold a while ago from the French company. I have a tube whatever is the new stuff at home. Can't remember what it is called but will look when I get there.

You'll start seeing the fat come off in the places where it still is. The loose skin is basically just where you've lost more bodyfat & the skin needs to tighten up. Use the YES. Hell, I slept in the stuff. As you diet down more it will tighten up. Just be patient.

You are at the point where you will see really dramatic changes but you aren't quite cut down enough yet. LIke Shadow said - you are right on schedule and to a point its all about just stickign to what you are doing, mentally sit back and watch the changes in your body as they come - don't feel bad because you aren't there yet - its all about getting ready for a certain time of day on a certain day - anythign too soon or too late is useless, so no point in worrying. If you get too lean too quickly then you won't be able to maintain it for show day and you will either spill over or start to get exhausted trying to maintain.

Awesome job on the bodyfat - you are right where you need to be.

Keep working on your posing - its fantastic for conditioning. And make sure you are able to hold each pose at least for 30-60 sec. Sometimes you get a bastard judge who likes to make you hold the pose. And its just not a bad thing to be able to do.

I didn't go to Mexico today - it's raining cats and dogs here - so we're going to go tomorrow. There's a snow advisory for Tucson. lol wtf?? I'm tired of the cold.

How does the new stuff work?

----

I practiced posing all day yesterday, and also tonight after my workout. I'm getting better, and have a little routine down for pre-judging. I followed your advice and am happy with the transitions I have. I need to practice it more - but at least I now have a sequence to practice.

How does the new stuff work?

Delta apparently rescheduled / rerouted several flights this afternoon in / out of Atlanta for a winter storm warning. So much for the "deep south"... more like "deep freeze".

Basically same stuff. Just diff manufacturer, maybe slight change in the formula.

Thiomuplex: http://www.musclemass.com/thiomucase_fat_loss_supplement.html

Routine......post up the order in which you have been doing the poses as well as the transitions between them.

front dbi
(ts mve)
side chest
(ts move)
side tri
(ts move)
rear db
rear lat
abs
front lat

if I still have time
mm

I watched the 2005 Nationals pre-judging until I found a sequence that was simple and not full of a lot of extra crap. I borrowed it and made a few changes to simplify it a little more - and also so I wouldn't be toally plagiarizing it.

I'm still a little slow - so have to keep practicing to get it down to 60 seconds. I'll make a video and post it.

Oh, lookin' pumped babe! The spread is coming in beautifully. You are about five weeks out, right? When do you plan to diet down and really shred? And as a fellow tanning addict, you want to start now on pushing to black, you want to be crazy dark to bring out that great definition!

I'm about 6 weeks out. I'm going tanning today, as a matter of fact. I'm goging to start taking melanotan again.

According to Shadow - I only have a few pounds left to drop - then it's all water.

btw - weight this AM = 145. :)

Yep, that sounds right. I'm always amazed how shedding the water in that last week brings out the cuts. You've got the form and musculature now and the weight is fantastic! Can't wait to see the striations!

We'll talk more on the tanning, I have tons of good ideas for you!

Um......no....dark brown is good.....REALLY dark is terrible as it actually hides definition.

She has 6 weeks to drop 6 pounds of fat to put her at 7%.

LMAO @ the "when do you plan to diet down" - thats rich

Excellent.

Good on the Mal.....tanning beds arent really the BEST way to get a tan for a bbing show....you need a combination of sun(or bed), pill and then possible some protan

I think the sequence of posing is very good....in fact there is only one switch of poses that I was going to sguuest - but it really doesnt matter.

You will do the same squence for evening as morning.......you have more time at the night show.....so once you hit the mandatories......add in 3 extra shots that show your strengths.....

right now:

Abs/quads - vacuum pose with quad wiggle
Back Double Bi
Side chest and then drop to side tricep

melanotan = subq inject. only downsides = slight runny nose and slight loss of appetite - although these lessen each time I use it.

Melanotan I and II are both synthetic hormones of melanocyte stimulating hormone that were created, synthesized and developed at The University of Arizona and the Arizona Cancer Center. Melanotan I is a linear, full length peptide [containing all 13 amino acids]. Melanotan II is a shortened, circular version of the same peptide. Both have sunless tanning capabilities but because Melanotan II had spontaneous erection as a side effect, it is not being further developed as a tanning agent. It is now being evaluated as an erectile dysfunction drug."

LOL

btw - I had avis turned off.....

Anyone notice how caped your delts are getting??

Evenin that pic - the difference is very noticable

it causes random boners, or so I've been told. lol

I've become ther resident Melanotan guru, it seems. I get lots of PM's regarding usage, sides, etc. I really like it - and feel there are many benifits health wise - random boners are just a plus. :D

Us wimmins get a "tingly" sensation in place of the erection.

DOSING AMOUNT
--------------------------------------------------------

Find your weight on the chart below. 10mg is the average amount of one cycle. About 3 cycles are needed for the "loading phase." For someone of average weight (140-175), around 30mg is needed. This amount will vary from person to person. Heavier people, and skin type 1's need more than lighter people and those with higher skin types.

-----
10 mg / 12.00 injections = 0.833 mg --- 42 kg = 92 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 11.50 injections = 0.870 mg --- 43 kg = 96 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 11.00 injections = 0.909 mg --- 45 kg = 100 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 10.50 injections = 0.952 mg --- 48 kg = 105 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 10.00 injections = 1.000 mg --- 50 kg = 110 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 9.50 injections = 1.053 mg --- 53 kg = 116 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 9.00 injections = 1.111 mg --- 55 kg = 122 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 8.50 injections = 1.176 mg --- 59 kg = 130 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 8.00 injections = 1.250 mg --- 63 kg = 138 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 7.50 injections = 1.333 mg --- 67 kg = 147 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 7.00 injections = 1.429 mg --- 71 kg = 157 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 6.75 injections = 1.481 mg --- 74 kg = 163 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 6.50 injections = 1.538 mg --- 77 kg = 170 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 6.25 injections = 1.600 mg --- 80 kg = 176 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 6.00 injections = 1.667 mg --- 83 kg = 184 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 5.75 injections = 1.739 mg --- 87 kg = 192 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 5.50 injections = 1.818 mg --- 91 kg = 200 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 5.25 injections = 1.905 mg --- 95 kg = 210 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 5.00 injections = 2.000 mg --- 100 kg = 220 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 4.75 injections = 2.105 mg --- 105 kg = 232 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 4.50 injections = 2.222 mg --- 111 kg = 245 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 4.25 injections = 2.353 mg --- 118 kg = 259 lbs @0.02mg/kg
10 mg / 4.00 injections = 2.500 mg --- 125 kg = 276 lbs @0.02mg/kg
-------------

For example, someone weighing 184 lbs should be taking a dose of 1.66667mg daily. They will be able to get this amount out of the vial 6 times ( 10 / 1.66667 = 6)

Most importantly make sure you hold each pose for a 3 count -- that helps a lot to pace yourself on each one because I can almost guarantee when u get on stage you'll plow thru them so fast you won't know what hit. Just remember to do a 1-100, 2-1000, 3-1000 on each pose so its enough to count as a real pose and the judges see it.

they make cinnamon roll and banana nut bread, too. mmmmm. I bet they'd both be yummy that way.

Will2blean told me she tried the cinnamon roll and added raisins before she nuked it. :p

I'm having the choc fudge right now made with milk. dang, it's good that way.

Woke up this morning feeling kinda like death. :D It was hard to get out of bed, so I didn't right away. lol After cardio, I felt better - but took it easy today and watched movies. Not much going on at work - it's been rainy. Jeff met with some clients today and I did some billing this afternoon...cleaned the bedroom. that's about it.

My legs are still sore - calves especially. Woke up with left shoulder joint hurting a little, but it's better tonight.

I showed jeff the trick with nuking the protein powder to make brownies. lol He tried it with his mass gainer and they came out tasting really good - he says. No mass gainer for me.

I'm veiny. Really veiny. I'm a heroine addicts wet dream. :D Not ery feminine, IMO, but Evan (the guy at they gym I told you about a while back that struggled with anorexia) told me it was HOT. :D I promised him I'd try to find a female BB for him to go out with. He said that would be just dandy! lolol He's a really nice guy.

I'm lucky. the gym I go to is filled with really, really nice people who support me and think what I'm doings is a good thing. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :rainbow:

What's a "Qorkout"????? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Looking awesome. A thought -- on your rear poses you are always up on your toes - yes it shows the calves, but also you may be wobbling on stage due to nerves or whatever - so make sure you have those poses on flat feet as well. I personally prefer one leg set back and flexed -that does give you the chance to show off your hammies & calves as well.

Dang girl! Looking good on the poses!! You are going to do very very well....

I've been practicing it both ways. I feel (this is just my opinion) that I look :nerd: with the leg back.

Maybe you could give me a hint on proper leg placement, so I don't lokk so :nerd:

Practice with it - stick it at different angles and see what exposes the best cuts. Its just a practical suggestion tho -- I don't think I've ever seen anyone do the up on the toes thing w/ a rear double bi. But you see lots of people wobble around trying to get up for the Show of Calves. The point of "presentation" is to hit your poses and hold them looking like a pro the whole time. The up on the toes thing won't expose your hammies as well as a leg back will.

I will always refer you back to that pic of Elena's rear delt and the Jr Nats graphicmuscle.com pix for good examples. You can plant your foot first, sit back on your ham to activate it and then hit the pose.

ok. I thought maybe there was a certain foot position i was missing.. I'm having problems keeping my alignment straight with the foot back. I tend to lean.

I know it takes practice - and I'll be doing plenty of it. thanks, Sass.

WOW!!!!! Shorty you are looking awesome.

You are such an inspiration to all of us.
I hope I can come up as good as you have.
The posing is great.

Its still all about finding out what 1) allows you to do the best pose & show off the most stuff and 2) finding the variation that you wear the best.

I find the foot at a stance wider out gives me a better base but I think the leg in a little bit is more feminine looking - At least on me.

So just play w/ what looks the best for you. And remember when you cut up you'll need a place to show off your hammie cuts - side poses won't show that.

gotcha.

This is why I see womentake the stance you're talking about and then slowly kick themselves in the butt before replacing it back to it's spot. to show off calves and hammys?

Yep. Plus its sort of like when you do that you "know" which muscles you are looking to show off so you can "visualize" them when u flex & hold during the pose.

practiced posing today and took pics. I have a hair appointment tomorrow that I'm excited about. Going to get my hair colored and some highlights or sumpin. I think I'm going back to RED. :qt:

DAMN WOMAN...

Allow me to congratulate you on your stunning physique!!!!

Now, if I may offer some assistance with your posing?

Your legs are STUNNING but seem to overpower your upper body because you are not pulling your lats out fully. You have AMAZING bicep peaks but your chest seems to be lagging a bit. You have to change the arm placement a bit in the front double bi - bring your elbows up a bit and raise your chest pulling out your lats. This will make your upper body more symmetrical with your lower body and make your waste appear smaller giving you a better V-taper.

WORK ON PULLING OUT THOSE LATS.

Your legs are stunning, stunning, stunning but they are over powering your upper body.

Also in the side chest, try to bring that rear shoulder up a bit dipping a little lower in the front (this pose is also called the rib box). Think about dipping low enough to expose your serratous intercostals.

Your delts will need some work as well.

Also in your rear lat spread you are bringing your shoulders to far forward to the front of your body. This makes your shoulders appear even smaller. LATS LATS LATS... pull them up and out - not forward. I know this is hard as a bitch... took doofus me SIX MONTHS to get it down.

What I know about this stuff could be fit into a thimble and my comments were designed to help. I do hope that I did help. :)

I am confident that you will kick some ass!!!

Fantastic work on those pics.....

Lots of great advise on this thread.....dont get overwhelmed by all the suggestions - it will all come together.

I will have the next weeks stuff up a bit later today

On the side-bicep pose, is it worth rotating your forearm a shade more to tighten the biceps?

Looking ever more chiseled, TSO.

Which is the shoulder you are having trouble w/ ? The right side actually looks like it can flare out further than the left on both your front & rear lat poses. Don't know if your left shoulder has a limited range, but if not and its just a tendency you have on the left side, might help to consciously relax it and let it pull like the right side does - it tends impact the symmetry a little.

I'll take all the help I can get. I'm basically doing this alone - the person I had helping me is no longer around...Makes it difficult to get posing right. Especially lats and all my rear poses. oi.

David Henry lives in Tucson. I'm going to email him today and sii If he can either (1) help me with my posing, or (2) direct me toward somone who can.

I'm getting a lot o advice from people around me, bu they don't know any better than I do. lolol - so I'm polite, but I just ignore them. :D

That's why I want to slap people who think BB is just prancing around on stage in a speedo.... Its one of the most retarded competitions in the world, but it has quite a history and tradition. I mean, if a guy like Arnold took ballet lessons in order to present better, that says something. It is truly an art form :)

But to that point -- you are a natural at the side poses. Everyone has parts where they have natural gifts and other parts that just plain old need lots of work. This sport strips you down to exactly what God gave you to work with. There are no freebies or 'sufficients' here.

I guess consider this part of your indoctrination. I frankly didn't actually figure out the lat spread until this past summer.

Shit - that's not encouraging. lol

I called the Gold's Gym in Tucson where David Henry works out - he'll be in later this afternoon, and they also have a couple of other cometition trainers there who can give me some posing lessons. Hopefully.

So - I'll call back around 2 ish (that's 4ish for you east coasters) and see if I can make an appointement for next week.
