This is one of those things that you either LOVE or HATE. There is very little neutrality about these beds. They DON'T feel like a regular one, that's for damn sure. I find it very relaxing and I've had the first decent sleep in years since getting it. My husband is a very restless sleeper, he would wake me up sometimes 6 or more times a night, this almost TOTALLY dampens motion transfer. I'm sleeping much better and my back feels better, and I have a royally fouled up back.Mavafanculo said:musclemom and shorty:
whats the cliff notes on a Tempurpedic mattress? my back is starting to act up from sitting and staring at a computer screen 14 hours a day (work, not ef lol)
IMO, go here, find a hotel that has it, book a room (THAT HAS THE TEMPURPEDIC MATTRESS, make SURE you're actually getting the bed!) for NO LESS than three nights:

You can't make a decision about this thing just by laying on it for a little while. You actually have to sleep on it to feel if it's going to be right for you, I think.
If you order it from the website you get 120 day free trial, but you still have to pay restocking of like $200 something plus shipping of $175 so ...
Then, when you DO decide to get it, get it from a mattress company that has a liberal return policy. You'll still have to pay restocking fees, but this is one of those things that if it doesn't work out you will be MISERABLE and it's too expensive to be stuck with.
