You girls are so sweeeeeeeeet! Its been a crappy week -- but it happens and I guess its passed. Diet nose-dived a bit in conjunction w/ my attitude, but back on track. Mostly cuz I have no appetite at all right now so I may just run w/ that for a few days.

I had a realtor come thru my house at 10:30 this morning and then had what I think was an excellent phone interview just now w/ a company locally - literally 10 min up the road. Oh the irony. THey are direct competitors of the company I got the rejection call from yesterday. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

But anyway... .While driving around waiting for the realtor to go thru my house this morning I walked thru a local Pier 1 (LOVE THEIR FURNITURE...!) and then hit the discount shelf at Borders. I bought a "How to draw animals" thing for $7. That will be my personal relaxation time today.

As a friend has reminded me, patience is a virtue, and as my cat reminds me every minute, "don't sweat life .. just lay back & let someone scratch your belly!"

not that I am one to talk but :velvett: (diet)

The positive thing is people are looking at the house! You should post up a pict of the first animal you draw!

OMG I made it back to the gym! As per the above whiner posts, its been a rough week, very probably a hormonal thing as well. I've just noticed a very tangible feeling of depression and lack of energy. Sometimes it happens, so I let it happen, dealt w/ it, indulged the diet a little and now I'm back on track, again proving to myself how therapeutic the gym is and how a bag of even my favorite m&ms just doesn't really fix anything. I'm still pretty consistent w/ no appetite so its absolutely been boredom or frustration eating. Again, this whole proving to myself that the junk food doesn't satisfy anything. I will say I've had a couple of the South Beach Diet pizzas - they were on sale for $2.50 per -- I've had the most obscene craving for jalapenos lately so I've gotten the cheese pizzas (around 300 cals, 35 g carb) & loaded them up w/ grilled chicken & jalapenos - not really a bad meal and certainly fixes the hot craving.

Anyway ...

Training: went a little extra on the legs today since I've been on my ass the last 4 days....

6 min elliptical warm up
10 min mobility warm up (short sprints across the aerobics room):
- 2x (1x = there & back) sprint
- 2x high knee sprint
- 2x ass kick sprint
- 2x per side cross-over ("chain step"?) sprint
- 1x front kick (karate style)
- 1x per side side kick
- 1x rear kick
10 min static stretch (arm circles, lat stretch, tri stretch, leg stretch, hip stretch, etc)

OH Squats: bar/20 10/12 15/10
front ATF squats: bar/20 10/10 20/6 (knees hating me today)
Super:
- walking lunges: 20/50 x 3 (last pass w/ step + rear kick)
- 45 degree hyper ext (ham)
Rotator warmup:
- cable in / out : 20/15(4)

looks like a great workout! I always say something is better than nothing and that IS SOMETHING! AWESOME! That is also one area that you can control in your life.

Those jalapenos should fire you right up for the next interview!

LMAO! Its ok for the phone interviews, but not the face to face ones...!

Actually the speaker phone feature on my cell phone worked great for my last phone interview! However my cat kept trying to sit on the phone....
