Well, my knee came back but my internet didn't. I've been reduced to my emergency "FREE 90 DAYS OF AOL!" disk & a 20 ft phone cable. Jeez. I'm so freeking tired from last nite. Up until about 4 am swappign out the ice but the knee started to get better. Then the Halcion kicked in & apparently I feel asleep on a bunched up towel and now I've got a nice big fat bruise where that was.

I may be having an issue w/ my laptop's connectivity some how so will need to deal w/ that at some point soon. Until then... dial-up baby!

MEGA THX TO QSWEEP for helping me last nite.....!

Not sure what I've got in me to do in the gym today. Being very careful w/ my knee and just waiting to see if 4 cups of coffee & some Cardio Breeze make me give a crap about anything ....

Thx girl! Most of the day was just in a flaky fog still messnig w/ my internet connection. I finally just had to get out of the house - then somehow the emotional drain of it all hit on the way to CompUSA to get a 25 ft ethernet cable. One call to mom later, I feel a lot better :)

I also made a score at Target! Found a $9.99 iPod Shuffle belt clip -- my poor little iPod -- I got the little one so i could hang it around my neck as the arm band ones are too small & annoying. Except the lanyard that the iPod hangs on gets soaked and that just gets sort of disgusting. So... yay!

Mom's always have that effect......most of the time, anyway! lol

Hope the knee is on the mend. I can feel the same thing "pop" when I do leg curls.

Hey Sassy! Enjoying reading the log, and just wanted to say keep up the good work! You were right my diet is quite similiar to yours (well minus the grapefruit don't like those :p)

Only problem with that lanyard is it holds the player in the exact spot dumbells are to hit during chest, or back movements with cable + bar combo.

I so know what you mean!!! Mine use to fit on my arm fine, and now especially during arm day after every set I'm having to increase the band and it's almost maxed out!

That armband shit hasn't worked for me since 2000. The little clip I got is a mega score for me!

Hard & fast leg work out tonite. Also discovered my chiropractor has started her 2nd week of a training program so maybe I just found a training buddy - or at least someone to while away my cardio time with...

Diet: sleeping patterns still hosed completely... still up at 5 am...
Meal 1: 11 am
1 whole egg + 7 egg whites
1/2 grapefruit

Meal 2: 3 pm
4 oz chicken
1 c green beans

Meal 3: 6:30 pm
4 oz chicken
1 c green beans

*train*

Meal 4: 9pm
4 oz chicken
1 c broccoli


Meal 5: 11:30 pm
4 oz top round steak

2 gigantic cups of decaf :rolleyes:



Training: legs -- hard & fast cuz the gym closes early on Fridays :rolleyes:
Warm up: 5 min treadmill
Giant: x 2
- walking lunges: 15/ 50 x 2
- step ups: 20/20 x 2
- 45 degree hypers: 25/20 x 2
Giant (quads) x3
- squats: bar/20 (warmup), 45/12 x 3
- leg press: 45^4/12 x 3
- leg ext: 130/12 x 2 130/5->115/5->100/5->85/5-> alt 25/5x 3 -- burn out
Giant (hams) x 2:
- GMs: bar/15 10/12
- lying leg curl: 100/10+ 3 pulse at top x 2
- 90 degree hyper ext: 0/15 + 5 pulse / 2


Ran out of time for stretching & cardio tonite, but based on my better common sense re: the "knee incident" & "butt scooting" the other night, I'm cutting back on the stretching for a few days and reading about it instead.

And the good news is that my Nytol is now kicking in at 1:42 am... might yet get a reasonable night's sleep!
