What spice(s) would you recommend in place of table salt ?

Processed spices mix is crap (contain a lot of sodium + hydroganeated fats + sugar + sometimes MSG)

The no-sodium salt (mostly potassium chloride) doesn't taste really good (not as taste enhancer as the real NaCl) and you have to use tons of it

Red meat
poultry
egg whites

mrs dash is not bad and has a few variety
there is one salt sub that is actual salt and potassium chloride mix

i don't use it
i use sea salt or soy or fish sauce but at a reduced level
and sprite it up with lemon or lime juice
and take a potassium supplement

puffy ankles?

Fish sauce is good for poultry but don't mix w/ red meat

and it is saturated in sodium (see the crystals at the bottom of the bottle ?)

it's made from natural rock salt and re-chrystalizes with time
and i suggested using it with lime juice

yes u can use it with red meats

i used it on lamb last night with red curry it was great
have used on beef and pork also

I'll try it with lemon juice

BTW, is one better than the other ?

I like the Phu Quoc fish sauce from Viet Nam
