Reverse Grip Bench Press

Tried it on a smith machine today, felt pretty good, but I can't see how some people say it is primarily an 'upper chest' movement, I couldn't feel it work my chest at all, all work was done by triceps and delts. I always thought it was a tricep movement primarily anyway, I know it is one of the recommended tricep exercises for Doggcrapp, and I have seen quite a few powerlifters use it as a bench assistance lift. But I guess it depends on your tech

Only problem was my hands were a bit sweaty and it almost felt like the bar was going to slip out of my hands! Even on the smith!

I've been babbling with it a little lately. It's great to throw into the mix. Wanna try something really different. Reverse grip barbell presses. Talk about hitting the shoulders. It's not an ego lift though it will bring you down to size in a hurry. Also you have to start at the shoulders as it's near impossible to take the weights off the rack behind you.

tri would be the primary until it adjusts to the change in muscle stimulation and stength development.
Chest will become prominent then.

One of my buddies does almost 5 plates using it. It's really quite impressive to watch. But he needs a spot to lift off.
