True, not all protein sources are the same, but I found this helpful to me in seeing through the '4.4 lbs' canister and how many grams of each serving are real protein, etc etc etc.

ALSO - if you know an online vendor who can beat what I have for procomplex, please post it up.

to followup here, I found a food better than procomplex or tuna - canned maceral. It's $1 a can at 13g per serving and 6 servings per can.

0.174 pounds per dollar.

.126 POUNDS per dollar from DPS nutrition, only .066 POUNDS per dollar from ProteinFactory.

BTW - better prices at muscledepot I've learned - and lower shipping costs.

I've learned so far that canned macrel taste HORRID. It's off the list no matter how cheap it is.

Still, seems pretty clear that protein powders are far more cost effective at getting your protein. I may start to mix in a can of tuna each day but for now, the Synpax Diet is getting it's protein from powder.
