Where u been? Or have I been on C&C for so long that I forgot U existed?

I usually have a shake, San's Pro Fusion. A solid protein blend and and EFA's as well. As far as as a meal, you could simply do egg whites and non fat chesse, with some UDO's or some type of EFA's. You could also have some chicken or turkey or something. I mix a whey shake before bed and put it in the fridge. When i wake up to piss, I down it real fast and crash again. Use as little water as possible though, or you'll soon be waking up again to piss.

Ive nixed the peanut butter and or peanuts........also dumped the cottage cheese.......I have a good meal after I get home of either p/f and or p/c depending on training schedule ....around 7-730pm and a thick ass casein shake of skim and egg whites with either some udos or almonds arond 9pm....then it's lights out.......

1.Shake with flax seed oil to slow absortion (O.N. ) also may be loaded w/bananas etc...........

2.ANPB with 7 grain and or wheat or low sodium an low or no cholesterol crackers

3.Tuna with 7 grain and or wheat

These are my after 5pm three favorites!!!!!!!!

Turkey breast meat is a good choice - not only is it a good high quality protein but it has triptophane (sp?) which will help you sleep better. Wash it down with a protein shake and you should be good to go.

There are those who advocate taking ZMA supplements at bedtime but you cannot use any milk based protein shakes as the calcium prevents absorption of the minerals.

Yikes. Have you met my friend Sal Monella yet. You'll know if you do, he's a bad ass MFer and by the time he gets done with you, you'll feel like you went ten rounds with the champ.

Of course, if you're doing a cutter, all the puking will help you eliminate excess calories, not to mention the kick ass ab workout ;)

I was in the fatty oils like flax seed slowing digestion also. I recently was enlightened by some papers I read that it in fact does not slow digestion of protein. Only fats contained within the protein source do that. Kind of along the lines of oil and water not mixing thing.

Why do so many of you drink whey before bed? Doesn't it digest way too fast for the purpose of providing nutrition during sleep? i.e. Isn't casein the obvious choice if you're going to have a shake?

Personally I have a couple tbsp of ANPB or some whole peanuts, perhaps nuke some chicken wings or any leftover meats I have in the fridge.

whey? Yes.......but se casein and flax = good to go....switch peanuts or pb to almonds or walnuts 100X better for you

Had 2 tbspns of flax oil and rocky Road Pro Complex last night.

I usually go with almond butter and cottage cheese.

The flax oil I have has 1.5g saturated fat a serving (1tbspn), while almond butter has 1g and ANPB 3g per 2 tbspns.

peanuts , walnuts , almonds... Almonds especially produce natrual cyanide. All of which are allergy problems. Coconut is the best bet

udos...its a fabulous dource of efas.....contains all three......yes, coconut has many nutritional benefits, as do walnuts, peanuts and almonds......get the organ versions, no problems..........

Yep, Udos is excellent...they by the way have a study going on now that any weight trainier can participate in. they will send you a case of Udos!

For anyone interested...here is the link.....believe it is still going.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Diane Robert, Project Manager for an International Natural Weightlifting Case Study sponsored by FLORA Health, a certified organic company that is FDA approved in United States and Canada with distributors around the world. We are inviting natural weightlifters including Olympic weightlifters, powerlifters, strongmen/women and other strength athletes to submit an Expression of Interest to participate in this exciting project.

In collaboration with FLORA Health, RobertUniverse.com, the official website of Leo Robert, former Mr. Universe Pro, is conducting a 36-Week International Natural Weightlifting Case Study to measure the effects of essential fatty acids on weightlifting performance, health & general well-being. The source of EFA's used in the study is a special blend of carefully chosen, natural unrefined oils, known as Udo's Choice® Oil Blend, which was formulated by Dr. Udo Erasmus, internationally recognized authority on the subject of fats and human health. We are currently seeking serious-minded candidates who match the criteria for this Study. The Study has been underway for the past 3 years and due to its overwhelming success, we are now accepting applications from a total of 20 countries worldwide.

Participants of the Study will receive free cases of Udo's Choice® Oil Blend which won the Gold Alive Award of Excellence each year it was entered, each time in a different category (1996, 1997, 1999, 2000). It has been sold in health food stores around the globe for many years. To find out more about Udo's Oil, please view the following link: http://www.udoerasmus.com/products/pdf_fil...e_Oil_Blend.pdf

We ask that participants remain on the same weight training, diet and supplementation program throughout the 36 weeks of the trial. Special consideration will be given to athletes who are currently involved in competition. Each participant will be required to submit three photos to be used on our website and must be prepared to log their performance in the gym, daily oil intake, supplementation and complete the necessary questionnaires. Participants will be issued their own username and password to gain access to a special section of our website to complete the forms electronically. Each participant will be featured on our website where the study will be followed from beginning to end.

A similar study involving athletes who used Udo's Choice® Oil Blend was conducted in 2001 by Umahro Cadogan from Denmark, a nutritional expert with expertise in sports and fitness who regularly lectures on health and nutrition in Europe, and is a nutritional consultant to some of Denmark's top national athletes. Each athlete was given 1 tablespoon per 50 pounds (25 kilograms) of body weight per day of Udo's Choice Oil Blend. Within one month, stamina increased by 40 to 60% in athletes pushing the limits of their performance. Athletes noted increased strength, endurance, lean body tissue, faster post-workout recovery time, less painful joints and better mobility and overall improvements to their health. Please see our website for photos of the athletes and highlights of the study.

To submit an Expression of Interest, please visit the Case Study Information Centre on our website www.RobertUniverse.com or contact me directly.
