U know I will always follow teh Jacket as well orb. Lart has a hot girl, SB has 4 divorces which ill prob end up having later in life as well, and you got teh Jacket. I really have some awesome advice on here I need to listen to. Im doin good so far though, payin off bills, not talking to my ex AT ALL, and upgrading to better materialistic stuff. Havent had a chance to save up money or invest in silver yet, but thats because of bills. Thx for all the help u have given me bro no homo i love you. btw a pof girl from texas wants to meet lol

Thanks for the support everyone. This industry is very tough and the money is not consistent. Just like anything else it takes time. The last party on LI
i had Mel work the door doing guest list and coat check I made 400 dollars at the end of the night after paying people off. Not bad for my 3rd local party , but I have to get rid of the hip-hop room because I hate it. I don't need the money so bad to have that element around me. I have discovered a new DJ
(only 21) and my goal is to build him up and work with him. I got him a great gig and I am just going to take 20% of what he makes in Brooklyn on the
28th. I'll post the flyer later as we will be having some reality TV chick there. I have grown up a ton in the past few years. My focus was only chasing women for most of my twenties. Melohh and I have a great relationship and I think we will continue to. All relationships have ups and downs, but things have only gotten better and not worse after fights etc.. in the past 1 Year and 5 months.

Word. You're telling me.

Everyone bitches about money - but when I talk to them about doing this & that that'll help them - they're fucking lazy, negative, don't care or expect everything to be done for them.

The work ethic of the typical American nowadays is disgusting (esp on the west coast). I miss the image of the hard working american of previous decades. The dreamer & the do'er.

Making a living promoting parties sounds fun but also doesnt sound like a stable way to make money. I would imagine you have to deal with a lot of people of ill repute and would be hard to maintain your nice guy persona over time

You know that you can say that about a lot of start ups SD. Selling supplements doesn't pay all your bills at first. The successful entrepreneurs that post on this board I think would agree with me.
It takes time for things to take off and also proper planning in that time. I wake up with the same thought every day. "What am I going to do to take my business to another level"
I am not surprised that Bakemeacookie chimed in agreeing with me on this thread, he is an excellant/professional businessman. We all have the same d-bags holding us back and our job is to figure out what the hell we can do to fix it. It really makes you try and think outside the box because people are frustrating. Firing everyone doesn't always work. Firing people at the right time will. Or even better is figuring out a way to get them to be more productive. When I meet "gung ho" people who are down for OUR cause I immediately associate this person as someone worth joining my team in some capacity. Over time you find yourself enough people like that and you will be successful at things.
