TRUE Overtraining takes awhile to happen, how long have you been training and dieting?

Sometimes it is easy to overdo it, or just get burned out. If you are feeling burned out, either cut back on training or re-evaluate diet to see if you are lacking something. When first starting a new program, it takes your body a few weeks to adjust. During this time period, you need to make sure you are getting enough rest. In fact, you ALWAYS need to make sure you are getting enough rest. This is why it is recommended you always take AT LEAST one day off EVERYTHING.

Adjusting to the new diet is sometimes the hardest part. I'd say maybe cut back a little, but don't take a whole week off from lifting. (just do less reps or lighter weight)

I always try to take one day off (Sundays), which usually doesn't happen because I end up getting bored/restless so I go for just a walk, but that's not doing too much damage.

Yea,buddy who owns gym swears by taking a week off a couple times a year, charge up your batteries and hit it HARD after that week, still walk or go light on a shortened workout for that week..may do you some good, certainly wont hurt, you wont lose muscle in 1 week, that may let your body adjust to new diet a bit too...Rest like daisy said is most important...good luck.
