Last night I pulled 325 5X5, no problem there, untill today, my low back is so f-ing sore that when someone touches it i seriously want to scream. So my question is, would it be better for me to switch to sumo style to alleviate to much demand on my low back? And if so, how do i make the transition? I really dont want to decrease weight yet, b/c of the fact that Ive been increasing every week. Any ideas?

Why wouldn't you be sore? Your lower back muscles get sore like any other muscle when they're worked.

If they are weak, don't avoid them, make the "hard like chicken lips." :D

Forget about the weight you are handling. Drop the weight down if it means you can strengthen your weak points. And also just because you are increasing the weight doesn't mean your handling it. I used to squat almost 350 lbs. but is was because of my strong stumpy legs (I'm short) not because I had a super strong lower back and I've been dealing with a lower back injury recently as a result of years of neglect.

Take your time and remain injury free!
