Well, I don't really have any "little black dresses." I'm NOT a dress person - never felt comfortable in them, so don't really own any......hence why I was thinking of the black pants, heels & a nice top.....

Combed the Mall today - literally went in all the stores that might have nice, sparkly shirts - NONE!! Didn't find a one!! *sigh*

I try not to wear dresses on purpose so I tend to agree with the "little black dress.....pants" theme.

Add some strappy sandals & a foofy shirt for a casual yet sophisticated look. Just my .02

That's a pretty cool necklace....may go to another store & mall tomorrow to look around & see if I find anything nice....otherwise I'll just wear something I have....the promoter said pants were ok......

I think whatever you wear will shine with your personality...Look like amillion bucks even if attire was $3.00.

IMO I would dress like its a special occassion - these people busted their ass and I think it gives the whole affair a more "legit" effect if you dress like its a special event instead of something that you had to interrupt your ball game on TV to go do. I also think it reflects well on you and brings a level of quality that people remember when they see you on stage.

Well I've shopped both malls in DE as well as several stores & found NOTHING!!

So I've gotta go with what I have at home unfortunately - there was nothing sparkly to be found anywhere......

I think you cant go wrong with a simple black dress, some EYE catching jewlery, nice hair do, and simple somfy dress shoes.No need for "hooker heels".

Just My opinion, but Im sure your will be stunning no matter what you wear. Think of it like---- there will be TONS of eyes on you, so strut your stuff girl

I agree, the girl that handed out the trophies at the comp. I did, wore a black cocktail dress, very classy and shelooked great. I think she had some med. height pumps on, not the hooker type and silver jewelry.
