Off Season NFL Prediction:

I think Palmer and the Bengals will do some damage this year but with the addition of Corey Dillion the Pats will run thru everyone this year.
 
So you are predicting the Pats ? Hard to argue, I like the Pats top to bottom. The Nfl does not allow many back to back champs. If the Pats pull off back to back it would mean 3 championships in 4 years, and I would argue they could be considered an NFL Dynasty.

The last two NFL Dynasties were the back to back Broncos and the 92, 93, 95 Cowboys. I just think it takes at least one back to back to be a dynasty in the NFL. There are plenty of 1 year wonders, Ravens, Bucs, Packers etc...

LakerPride says Pats repeat. Who else?

Pats have the edge.

I think the Eagles will actually regress this year. TO is a cancer in the lockerrom. A good player, but a headcase, and no where near the difference maker he imagines himself to be.

I'm a Jints fan so am biased there. Coughlin brings a lot, and anyone else but Lynn as DC has got to improve that side of the ball. Warner is a huge upgrade over Collins despite the press being down on the guy. He's a premier QB, and the HC in SL has serious fucking issues.

There are no power houses in the NFC. I'm curious if Dallas improves. Surpreised they doidn't make a move for Collins or anyone but Vinny. Tells me Parcells has a lot of faith in Carter. I think Gibbs can really turn around the Redskins. He may be the best coach in the NFL today. Certainly would have gotten my vote in the 80's-early 90's

Vikings no way. Ditto Bucs
 
The Pats are gonna be the team to beat in the afc. Colts will be lucky to get back to the afc championship game, KC should do OK. The most improved of the AFC should be the raiders, even though I hate them, they made some key additions.
On the NFC side its wide open. The rams are going down hill, Eagles made some upgrades, GB is getting old, I think its going to be the Seasquacks.
There you have it the next SB is the Pats vs the Seagals, and the Pats will clean up.

Who does Denver have at reciever? Mcaffreys gone right? And the rest of them are old. They wont win the division, and they'll be lucky to make the playoffs.

1st Old coaches are doing really well in sports now (Joe Gibbs, Norv Turner)
2nd It makes for a good story line; Turner used to coach the Redskins

Vikes D will be very much improved this season, with the additions of Antoine Winfield, and their First Round pick Kenechi Udeze. And with the best offense in the league, all Minnesota really needs is an average defense.

I disagree. They have had solid O and shaky or average D for several years now. Their first round pick will not solidify the defense enough to win it all this season. I think it is obvious excellent defense usually wins the Super Bowls. Not always, but usually and I dont think Moss and his mates can win it aLL this season. Good Luck though.

Dood, why would the Pats be 8-8? They are as good or better than at the superbowl just from a personell stand point. @ least 10-6 for the Pats and possibly another AFC Title Game.

That is pretty freakin funny. The dolphins are always a good team for most of the year and end up chokin. If they can stay healthy they will make the playoffs. They will NOT win the division, short of an act of god.

Why were the bucs 7-9 this year. They didn't get any worse. Why were the raiders 4-12. Shit happens. The pats won't make the playoffs. The phins will win the superbowl. The nfc champs will be the falcons. They got a couple of good defensive players and with Vick the offense will be one the best.

He doesnt have anything to worry about offence, which leaves him to go wild on his favorite thing anyways....The NFC is a joke now, I am a die hard Lions fan, but you would have to be insane, and quite stupid to think they will even make the playoffs, still have years to grow. But the Eagles are probably the most sound to make a run, then always gotta love the chances of Carolina surprising everyone again...ok it wont happen...and everyone knows that the packers are to old (like the lakers...lol...) but who knows, the dirty birds might sneak in and be more surprising than the seadawgs!!!

Bucs, wrong chemstry to much ego, not enough team players, Raiders...theres a gimme, they are older than football is. sorry to say that the phins cant play in the winter...and oh yea half of football is played in the winter, and the falcons are fun to watch by far, but to much relying on one player, but the NFC has the best chance for upsets...
 
Uh. THe phins have won 2 superbowls. And this year they don't have alot of coldweather games. They play the pats at foxboro early in the year. The pats are overachievers who won't get more than 9 wins this year.

I think thats a great pick. Qunicy Carter is in his 3rd or 4th year (I forget) and Dallas was solid last year, this definetly could be the year they bring it back to Dallas. Their defense is sick.

He has better receivers, but if Vinny is in we have a better chance to win. He can make all the throws. If Vinny gets hurt (and he will) Q will get a chance to prove me wrong, but dont bet the farm. All im saying is Quincy Carter made huge improves from 2 years ago to last year. If he keeps improving they way he has he will be a solid QB riding behind a solid team. Vinny can make some throws but in now way does he have it in him to lead the Cowboys anywhere. Carter has tons of potential.

I hate the Cowpukes, but you have to consider Parcells was the guy calling the shots, and he stuck with Carter. He obviously has some kind of confidence in the guy that I can't see, because there were several pretty decent QB's who went cheap in free agency this year that he passed on.

Finally a realistic fan besides myself ~lions fan..lol...~ Carter is garbage wrapped up in a uniform. vinny will play good games, but never a whole season. I think Keyshawn will give them more headaches then they need therefore, their receiving corp wont help out as much as last year. their defense is sick, I wont argue that but the offense is a sputtering wreck. Who is their running back anyways???? or tight end???? good luck, but I think the Lions might do better than them this year!!!!!! hahahahaha...well maybe

as for the Phins, I dont think they won 2 superbowls either, and when was the last one they were in???rrriiigggght, it was a hall of fame quarterback ago!! I have a feeling that they will be nice and warm during superbowl again at their homes in front of the TV.....but who knows

Good shit ~dood~ didnt remember that they won back to back. and I also didnt know that they only had 2 losing seasons that is pretty outstanding, but if you put them hand in hand, that means out of the dozens of seasons that they have been good, they have only won it all Twice, which leads back to the point they are not good at finishing.

There were so many disappointments last year, guessing who will be champ this year is a tough call. I'd like to see my hometown team (Seachickens) make it, but I'm realistic. If they make it through the first round of the playoffs this season I'll be happy.

I am more of a Ricky Williams fan than I am a phin fan.That is why I am not angry at him. most phin fans are angry and don't want him back. But I always thought Minor had alot of talent. He was very good at FSU. I think he will be a solid starter this year. And look at the phins recievers. David Boston who has been a pro bowler and has great potential. And Chris Chambers who imo is a top 5 reciever and will prove that this year. Just because he never had 1000 yards doesn't mean he isn't great. He is always open and makes the great catch and run after.

How bout Chad Johnson from cincinatti, ever watch him play, that guy catches everything...and Derrick Mason for the titans, and that rookies Anquan Boldin, that guy is huge, almost the exact same game as Terrel Owens!!!

The cowboys do not have enough talent. And there is a huuge hole in their secondary. They only have one good corner. Didn't you find that out by ther phin game last year when Jay Fiedler killed them.

I would like to say, even though I was wrong about Indy and the Pats won again, nothing pleases me more than to watch the hearts break of the Philly fans 4 straight years. Every since you bastards cheered when Mike Irvin nearly broke his neck @ the Vet, I never had one ounce of respect for Philly fans. Unless the Colts have a great offseason, they will not win the Super Bowl. First off, Edgerrin James may not even stay unless his teammates will take a pay cut. Then they need to get a few more people on the defense, their draft pick should be a defensive player.
