Yea ive been here awhile and I must ask...

HOw long is it going to take for a 6'0 167 lb person to get big.

Proper diet has started and been lifting 4-5 days a week.

Not much improvement. I know im impatient, Im not giving up. Im going for 3-6 months and I hope then i will see progress.

My pecs wont get definition any good chest workout plans/

links

karma props to alll who help

How long have you been training for?
I believe a weight gain of 1 - 1.5 kg per month is a good goal (1kg = 2.2lbs).

For chest definition, after bench-pressing, try supersetting with a set of flys/pec-dec and then do as many push-ups until failure.

I also like stripped sets and negative sets... man, those stripped sets let me sore like hell...

What's your diet look like? Without enough quality cals to grow, all the lifting in the world won't give you the gains you want. I have a lot of friends who ask me about this same problem, although they say they eat good and workout often. It's a shocker to them when they find out they are still underconsuming what they need, even though it's a lot for them. Not saying you are doing this or not, just trying to relate my experiences. Overtraining is even a possiblity, so post as much info as you can, diet and training routines and I'm sure someone can help you out.

Well its somewhat of an unstrict diet due to the hopeful bulk process. But please leave input on these. I drink 4-6 liters of water a day (nalgene bottles)
-Breakfast 3-4 eggs scrambled, 2 pieces of wheat toast with peanut butter or oatmeal with cinammon, brown sugar and sometimes syrup.
Lunch- varies, still in high-school I just go out to lunch varies from Chickens trips to taco bell.. I have been eating a lot of soft taco's lately is that good or bad for the bulk/size diet?
-Snacks, after school eat 3 or 4 Nature valley peanut butter bars ( there new and they have 9g of protein each in them)
-Dinner, varies every day
-Post workout: Pronutrition Protein Shake, Nature valley bar

*note on monday i have started drinking 6 nalgene bottles a day and have been taking 3 pills twice daily of PURE CEE.

Critique, comments?

Stats 6'0 167
Very long and skinny arms
Slim build
Hereditary:
Dad is 6'10 350
Mom is like 5'5 130
I guess that is what you guys are meaning

you got a lot to learn man read more into past articles in the forum but stay away from taco bell shit is horendous for you matter a fact take your own lunch meal replacements or a protein bar
eat qauker oats the kind thats plain with no sugar or added flavor and maybe you can keep the bread i wouldn't
fast food is always bad for size all it does is make you fat "fat is not muscle"
i beleive i have had those nature valley bars before and they have a lot of sugar in them which is not good
sounds like your parents are doing the cooking so you need to change that and get your ass in the kitchen grilled chicken steaks fish....

your breakfast seems to have a shitload of sugar in it switch it up it hard to stop eating so much sugar but you have to start somewhere so you wont have a big decrease in energy in the mornings start by cutting back on the sugar first and then work your way off cuz i know when i was in high school and started dieting i would go to school and fall my ass asleep

i got a friend who is exactly like you size and stature dude weighs about 225 now but is bad built from eating all that fast food and junk food

dude water is water as long as its clean who gives a fuck drink at least a gallon a day
add cardio in your workout regardless maybe start with 30 min

Therock, Your right. I just find it hard to diet with school and work in the way. Maybe I just gotta adjust and work around it.

Maybe start packing lunches to work.

What about Sandwiches (made out of that nice deli bread) with turkey, ham and cheese? This would mainly be the healthiest thing to eat at the waterpark I work out compared to pizza, nachos, hotdogs, chili etc.

Taking 2% milk with protein after post good or should i try and go water?

If anybody is still reading this thread and has researched somebody with the skinny man pole arm stats.
I was wondering if they could send me the diet or a diet I should try and follow

How important are fruits and veggies a day.
How many?

Thanks again.

Breakfast - Eat a fruit, some cottage cheese, and some eggs
Snack - protien bar or shake, since your in school try a bar or RTD (ready to drink)
Lunch- Tuna or chicken salad sandwich (Bread will be your carbs), with a veggie (carrots, celery, etc.)
Snack- same as the first snack
Dinner- Chicken, Steaks, Fish, Pork chops (try to pick the leanest foods, add some high quality carbs too)
Snack- high quality protein, low fat/carb/sugar before bed, maybe some left over meat from dinner, or a protien bar or shake

if you can eat like that, not the same foods every day, switch up with equivalent contents (protien/carb amounts) you will grow like a champ

STAY AWAY FROM GEAR
