I've been getting a lot of PMs lately with much too many questions so instead of answering each one, I decided to make a post so that any future questions could be answered with a link - pretty smart, huh. And to all you haters out there, try to keep the negative comments to a minimum or I'll be forced to demand that you post a current pic. lol

What are your stats? 5'10" 172lbs, BF hydrostatically tested below 3% at Cooper Aerobics Center in Dallas

How many calories do you consumer? 2300 per day

What is the breakdown of protein/carbs/fat? 40/40/20

How often do you train? Entire body once per week, 2 sets per bodypart - that's it.

How often do you do cardio? Everyday for 30 mins

How often do you cheat? Never

Why don't you cheat? I have no desire to

What do you eat? Classified :) I won't give my actual diet but will say eggs, tuna, chicken, turkey, whey protein, fruit, vegetables

What supps do you take? ON whey and occasionally ephedra (for energy & not fat burning)

What steroids do you take or have you taken? None

What do you aspire to look like in 2 years? Exactly as I look today ;)

Yep and his body looks like he does no training. My wife could kick his butt.

If you maintain at 2300 calories for 5'10" 172lbs, don't you think you've slowed down your metabolism ?

You should be able to maintain @2500-2800 calories (at least) with all the physical activities you listed

I do think that my metabolism is slow. Whether I caused it to slow down or it's naturally slow, I'm not sure. Could be either one since we're all different. It doesn't bother me at all though. It actually makes it easier and cheaper to eat. :)

Nope. My wife is 140 and loaded with muscle. She was at 160 at her best shape of around 12% bf. Ive never seen a woman 5'1" do incline bench with 185 for sets of 8 other than my wife.

And for you info I dont live on peanut butter. It is half of my diet when I am in ketosis. You on the other hand have to keep yours confidential. How come. Oh thats right your trying to make money on your diet.

I think you should get banned from here. Your trying to use the message board for your FINANCIAL gain.

And another thing. Your body fat%. Your going to have problems later in life if you keep it at that level. You eat nothing because your looks mean everything to you. Nobody wants to be anything like you. You have some kind of compulsive dissorder. Your hormone levels will shut down. I have never in my life met anyone who does not like to eat food. Your the first. Dieting like you is not something that anyone should or will do for the rest of their life.

And another thing. You are taking a risk cooking your food one week in advance and then having it in the fridge. I cant even believe your trying to get people to do that.

He must mock Dan Duchaine. I tell you what. I believe duchaine over this kid anyday. Experience is gold. I have the experience. I have never spent much time dieting as I really never wanted too. Gaining strength and size is more important than getting skinny for me. But now I am losing more fat now because I feel it is time to do so.

I would challenge NJRipped to do one week of any keto diet and then carb load with the amounts I posted. He thinks it isn't hard to eat that much clean carbs. He also said it is easier for him to diet on less cal because his metabolism is slower now. That seems like the opposite. It is harder to diet when you have to keep lowering your cal intake unless you have stapled your stomache.

He acts like he is the diet guru. Just because he lost alot of fat on a low calorie diet he thinks he has all the answers. He mocks people who are tyring to gain size and muscle mass and lose fat, yet he only loses fat and he doesnt know how to gain size.

If you read this thread you can understand where I come from. He has no open mind what so ever.

And for your info my wife is not even close to fat. She is athletic you moron.

5 years ago she did. She squated 300lbs two years ago. She was 7 weeks into training for a powerlifting competition and had to drop out because she got pregnant.

In the last 10 years there has only been one woman in the gyms we worked out in that was stronger than my wife. It was the former world record holder in the squat. I cant remember the weight class, but she did over 400lbs.

My wife has also gone as high as 100lbs on the tricep pushdowns. This is with the single pully. Women can be very strong. They just need to know how to get aggresive in the gym. Nothing wrong with women grunting while lifting.

Why don't we move away from the negativity and discuss the facts? The only statement which is accurate in your post is the fact that I have an extreme amount of confidence in my diet. How many people do you think are able to maintain what I have year 'round without the use of any juice? Most cannot do it with even the use of juice. Sure, there are many people who claim they are able to but when asked for proof, they give nothing but excuses.

And please don't feed me the line of "bulking" since it is readily agreed that one does not have to become fat in order to bulk. It's their "choice" to become fat and they use the term "bulk" to justify it.

How anyone can possibly put down my diet which is based simply upon purely clean eating is beyond me. The strangest part is that you have so many that follow along with the bashing. There is only one explanation and that is either jealousy or ignorance; you choose.

Where did I ever say anything about getting fat while bulking. I am bulking right now. I am not gaining any fat from it as I am eating as clean as I possibly can. I just think it is harder to force feed clean food into a body rather than cutting.

You use ephedra. You say it is for energy. Well fact is you wouldn't be where your at without it. Steroids don't make you leaner. Get your facts strait before posting.

As far as bulking goes, you don't know how to bulk and your avatar proves that. Stop talking about bulking.

Your diet = malnutrition. You eat microwaved leftovers everyday that have been in the fridge for a week. That's not a diet at all, that's lunacy.

If you are bulking and are not gaining fat then why is it difficult to "force clean food into your body" when your calorie intake should be relatively low?

So why don't you try and tone it down a tab and be real.

And please stop with the "classified diet" talk, it just makes people dislike you. If you don't want to tell people the macronutrients of your diet stop trying to talk about it.

Let's take the "classified diet" talk for example. In one instance I state that my diet is classified but then I reveal the foods that I eat. I also reveal the number of calories that I eat. So, is my diet really "classified?" Of course not - it was an attempt at humor.

Let's take it a step further. What is so great about my actual diet? Nothing is, I eat the foods everyone knows to be clean and healthy. So, why write a book about it then? It's not my actual diet that is the basis of the book but rather my ability to break people of the food addiction - something I never brag about in my posts.

Hope that clears it up for you. :)

I call it my "goiter." lol I actually pointed it out to a doctor once and he said that some people's internal organs protrude more than others. The avatar's a new pic and the lighting brings it out more. I don't think it was the result of the pizzas I had this weekend. ;)

You really should try the stomach vacuums as recomended btw. Christ... you look as pregnant as Ronnie Coleman does... lay off the growth hormone orb.

You posted that you only do two sets per body part a week. Can you explain this better for me? For chest, for example, you'll do 2 sets of flys and call it a day?

I didn't say as good. I said I've seen crackheads on the side of the road with the same physique. You have what we refer to as a "coke body". Not saying it will not impress the average joe or jane who is not in shape. It will. However do not think for one second it will impress anyone serious about bodybuilding. You are barking up the wrong tree by coming to a bodybuilding site and posting up yoru 2300 calories starvation diet, and talking about your training methods when you are that tiny, just becuase you have abs.

I'm seriously not being hater. Just laying down the facts for you. Any bodybuilder who looks at you will just assume you are a coke head.
 
Maybe I'm the minority but but I would much rather have NJR's physique then yours, BBF. No offense orb. His larger pictures do him much better justice.

What I do is 1/2 my body one day and the other half the second day (Sat & Sun). I will do two sets of the same exercise for each bodypart (i.e. two sets of dumbell bench). I do different exercises for each bodypart every week. Hope that explains it.

None taken. If its just the lean aspect, I have more cut than that, with a smaller waist when I am ripped though.

All you need to do is a couple lines of coke a day, and run on the treadmill with a little circuit training if you want that type of body. Actually you'll need some hgh and/or igf-1 to get your abs to bulge out like that form your hgh gut.

I'm still a little confused. You only work that body part once per week though, right? Like for chest you'd do 2x10 DB bench for the week?
 
lol You said it again even in this post ("crackheads at the side of the road with the same physique"). Is there a college in College Station?

Let me ask you a serious question. How do you think it looks to others when you criticize my physique but are too embarrassed to post pics of how you look today? I'm just curious as to how people rationalize this in their mind.

Hey, I wasnt ripping anyone's build. Not my style. I just thought it sucked to put that much hard work into your diet (well, so you say, enough to write a novel on it) and you have a small pooch covering your lower abs.....also, am I noticing a touch of droopy tits? Just curious, cause I may help you alter the problem.....as for the belly breathers, laugh all you want......it's the same practice as vacuums, but those must be garbage too.......

yeah was not attacking, NJ is mroe ripped then me by far BUT he comes across as a conceited a-hole IMO - also his physique is ugly end of story. You look really good. But I don't see how you can call NJR a toothpick when you have about the same amount of mass. But it's still hard to tell when you can't see your arms, or shoulders at least.

With only a mid/lower chest and upper abe shot, its impossibel to tell how large he is.

Anywho, I'm 5'9", weighed in at 238 lbs yesterday, and have visable, although not good, abs at present.

The saddest, and funniest part, at least for me is the fact that 99% of the guys with the derogatory comments about me are juicers. You would think that with all the juice flowing through your bodies that you would be in at least fair enough shape to not get embarrassed by posting pics.

njripped, sorry orb, but your physique is mediocre at best. You are lean... that is all. I post up pictures from time to time, and have done so over the years on here, showing my progress. I'll be competing this summer, and doing modeling work this spring, so I'll have plenty of pictures then.

I'm not being a hater... I just am a serious bodybuilder and do not find your physique to impressive, in any manner. The average person would think you look awesome... but you are posting on a board full of competative bodybuilders and juiceheads. You need to find a different site to chill on if you really want some respect. Just because your natural, does not change my feelings on the issue. It just tells me you are not hardcore, and are not willing to do what it takes to develop a truely impressive body.

Sorry, but I won't be buying your book or helping to support it by continuing to argue with you. I'll justkeep hitting you with red.

In any event, I'm doing something similar. I'm a dual major in nutritional science and psychology and plan on specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, but not by writing abook, but rather by treating the individual.

In any event, remember to slam him with red every day if you are pissed of by this guy, as several ofyou have sent messages to me claiming. It will ban him eventually.

no offense BBF, but by going by avatar pics, NJripped is presenting a MUCH more conditioned and proportioned physique. I am sure 99% of the members on this board would take his build over yours. The ones that would favor a bloated, sloppy looking build, would certainly choose your physique.

nj you look good but you're way smaller than I'd want to be.. it's commendable being so lean but I'd never want to go much under 210. Once you hit a point being 'ripped' it just doesnt look as good as being 'lean' but bigger imo
