my first day of CKD heres what I ate

stats 5'10 228 lbs 20%bf

meal 1 4 whole eggs 2 sausage pattys 2 tbs of flax

meal 2 2 oz of canned tuna 3 tbs olive oil

meal 3 4oz of chicken 3 tbs olive oil, handful of greens

meal 4 2 tbs of natty peanutbutter

meal 5 2 tbs of flax

meal 6 1 serving of whey, 2 tbs flax
(thats right before bedtime after weight routine)

totals for the day:

2355 cals
213 fat
98 protein
12 carbs(from the natty peanut butter)

goal around 181 at 7% or 8% BF
 
that looks about right if you are following Mr. X's CKD....the protein should increase day by day, and lower fat ratios....might wanna get some more fiber in there, but I'd say you are on the right track if you follow his ratios correctly and are getting the proper calorie intake for your weight....

check ingredients in sausage
some contain breadcrumbs :(

ya eat about 3 cups raw veggies...greens, broccoli, celery, spinach, green beans, snow peas, mushrooms, tomatoes
and about 1.5 cups cooked again broccoli, spinach, green beans, asparagus, snow peas, bamboo shoots, waterchestnuts, mushrooms

at this early stage watch cooked onions and red pepper and tomato intake

add some efa's 6-8 grams, esp salmon oil or udo's

Well, the body can and will maintain muscle mass perfectly well with protein set at 15% of total caloric intake - especially on a CKD....

Besides that, as jerkbox already pointed out - if he's following the CKD outlined by X, his protein is going to be very low on day one, and gradually increase as the week progresses.
