So today is the first day in the rest of my positive life. the morning didnt go as i planned but i managed to recover what i could. got called out at 3am to do psychiatric evaluation on a lady who was brought into local hospital by state police. she was chasing "people" around in her front yard at 2am, naked, screaming, and yeilding a butcher knife. turns out these people were in her head...gee, do you think she REALLY needed to be hopsitalized? funny thing is, that was the second one this week....i am NOT drinking the water around here.

so, my 5am wake up call proved to be my bedtime. got up around 9 am had my breakfast. it was pretty good. 5oz chicken breast, 3 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 1 grapefruit. I could only eat half, not used to eating breakfast. my beagle ate the rest, i told her she is on a diet too! supplements were: 7 keto, mass amino (4), ultra 40 (4), ultra 4. I feel great and full of energy...must be the 7 keto. getting ready to hit the weights. I feel like i could take on the world! :elephant:
 
I"d have to say that is the most "interesting" start to a day....!

Nevertheless it is the start of a new day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when my pager goes off, heaven only knows what is going on at the other end...i have learned that the human being has to ability to do just about anything...and i mean ANYTHING. keeps work from getting boring that is for sure. once had a 300lb female tell me she wanted to hang self by the elastic in her underware...i dont even thing hefty is that strong! that kind of stuff makes me thank for what i have going and makes me determined to make myself the best i can be!
 
well i made it though my first day. i got up late and am going to bed shortly, didn't get all my meals in today. got most of supplements in.

tomorrow's wake up call 5am. treadmill, heavy bag, abs. breakfast then off to work!

ok so i woke up at 5am...OMG! I have felt like a squrrel on crack all day! I mean, i am totally wired. no racing heart or anything, just loads of energy. i felt really good. the only problem is, i feel dizzy a lot. here is what i ate today:

Meal #1 3 egg whites, 1 whole
5oz chicken
½ cups oats or 1 grapefruit

Meal #2 2 scoops MP, 1TBL Natural peanut butter


Meal #3 6oz lean beef
1/2 cup rice
1 cup veggies

Meal #4 Same as #2

Meal #5 6oz lean beef,
Large salad W/ 2TBL dressing

Supplements:
Ultra 4
Ultra 40 4 per meal
Mass Amino 4 per meal
Glutamine for Training recovery
7 keto musclelean for fat burning /thyroid support.

was on the treadmill at 5:15am and felt great. worked out with the weights followed by glutamine then dinner an hour later. I am not used to eating so much food. i never ate breakfast so that is an adjustment. i usually just snacked on chips and candy most of the day and had a really big lunch and dinner...which is why i am in the shape i am now. but, that is changing and i feel great about myself today!

Life lesson #1 concerning diet:

Large salad: lots of lettuce=sore behind! note to self: be mindful of amount of fiber you put into your system at once :worried: !!!
 
Whoa! What am I missing in this log?!?!? lol I just skimmed your first post and saw something about a naked person with a knife running around the yard at 2 AM!!!!!

It gets better, your body will get used to getting the right foods. Just buy double the amount of TP until it does.

ugh! I feel really REALLY bad. I think maybe i tried to cut everything to fast. I have been following the diet since i got up sunday morning. yesterday i was feeling pretty dizzy but i have noticed this before i started the diet. today i passed out at work, like actually fell back into my chair when i stood up and was out. came to with three people in my face (just like a comedy on tv i swear). i came home and am still VERY dizzy. before I left work i ate a huge hunk of bread thinking maybe the sudden carb drop could be the problem. nope, nothing. i had some leftover easter candy and ate two small pieces thinking low blood sugar...nope, nothing. i am still very dizzy. what the heck is going on?!!!!!

OMG I hope your ok. Could you be hypoglycemic (low blood sugar)?

When I eat eggs, I only eat the egg whites and my dog eat the rest(yolks!!!)
I am on a diet but my dog...... Today, my mom said:" Don't feed yolks to beibei(my dog) anymore!!! Look at her! She is SO FAT!"

yep, same here! between the two beagles and the rottweiler, I am the skinny one in the house!

i sure hope not. i will have my blood sugar checked tomorrow. if i feel this crappy tomorrow i might stop at the emergency room (i work there for mental health crisis) and have them run some quick tests on me to make sure my blood work is normal. i really like the diet i am on, but it is really clean. not used to it so could just be the adjustment period. if so, i will just tough it out! I AM DETERMINED NOT TO FAIL!!!!!
 
I feel better today. I did not take my supplements this morning and I ate different things that what my diet allows. tomorrow I will take supplements and eat the same things i ate today to see which was the cause of my problems. didn't exercise this morning, was to pissed off about the "house guest". but, i did walk at lunch and managed to salvage my day despite the shitty things that occured last night.

If I go too long without food I get all wonky. I've even passed out once a long time ago. I can't do cardio on an empty stomach or I barf, get shaky and start seeing little stars. So I have a little bit of coffee before am exercise and it seems to work for me. I've learned the signs so now I know when I have to eat something.

Things are going ok, really busy at work, but I am surviving. Putting in long hours at work, county takeover coming July 1. I start working for the county on June 5. So, for a month, someone else will be handling my cases. that makes me nervous. heaven only knows how bad they will be f'ed up when I get them back. got my cardio breeze in the mail yesterday and will be trying it out tomorrow, can't wait. diet and training are going ok. i changed things up a bit. will post the final list once i get everything balanced out.
 
From your other post about interest in cycles -- did you find the source of the dizziness? Does it happen on the days you take the 7-Keto or have you experimented w/ removing different supps from your diet to see if one is the culprit or not?

source of dizziness was adjustment to diet. I stayed off supplements for couple of days and continued diet. was still dizzy. went back to old eating ways and took supplements, was not dizzy. So, i will just have to be careful. If I am sitting down I am ok so driving should not be a problem. Just have to watch when I stand up. i am sure I will adjust. Just not used to eating that clean.
 
Ok diet and sups back on track. Still a little dizzy but nowhere near as bad. Did some cardio this morning, made out pretty well. Will hit the weights in an hour or so.
 
UGH!!! What a rainy, cold, miserable day. No cardio this morning, was paged at 3am and had to go to hospital for 5 time in 12 hr. period. i didn't even get a chance to come home and change clothes before having to be at work! Good thing I cooked my meals the night before and had enough sense to take it with me "just in case". But, didn't eat the lunch. Had a business lunch with some providers in my area. But I am proud of myself. Went to TGIFridays and instead of getting the usual junk, I ordered the flat iron steak and asked them to cut to 6oz, which they did (I was suprised) and instead of the mashed potatoes I got double serving of veggie mixed with no butter. Also ordered the steak without the "signature" sauce. Had them put that on the side. Water to drink. My cardio was shot this morning but at least I proved to myself that I could go out and eat and make wise choices. Everyone else was ordering desserts and the really big fatting hamburgers and fried foods. I sat there shaking my head as I watched them down all that junk thinking I used to do the same. And the best part is, I ENJOYED what I had on my plate and did not miss that crap one bit. Going to go do my missed cardio now and some weights so the day isn't totally shot.
treadmill 45mins. weights 60mins. Wish me luck!

You know, I think you are right. I notice I have to pee several times a day. I was wondering why that was. Have not changed intake of water much (except in protein shakes). I am slowly dropping the diet pepsi habit (if I dropped that on top of everything else all at once, I think I would end up in the ICU!!). Could it have something to do with the supplements or the increase in veggies (aren't they water based)?
 
Just getting ready to do a workout before I start doing work that has been piled up on my desk for two weeks now. I am pretty sure I will get a good one in tonight. My father is being an ass (refer to "am I being a jerk" thread on c&c) and all I can do is imagine his face on my heavy bag :destroy: My diet was great today. I had no problems, except not being able to finish my meals but I ate 80% of them. Cardio this morning with aid of cardio breeze...Love that stuff. I feel like a squrrel on crack when I take it. I got a new tattoo today and it is on the back of my neck and between my shoulder blades so won't be doing any squats, rows, or crunches :worried: Wish me luck!

It is a tribal sun design with an eye in the middle. The eye is red. It looks really good. Once it is healed, I will post the picture. i am really excited about this one. Tattoos are sooooo habit forming!
 
I had a nice easy going day. I am off all weekend but could not decide what to do. Bumed around house most of day. Was going to go to gym but realized I didn't take any days off this week, so today was a day off. Just got home from going to dinner with friends. Went to an Asian place that was out of this world. Very nice. I had the wasbi crusted tuna and tuna sushi. Very good. Totally blew my diet I am sure. Not sure what he calorie content is for that. It was good regardless. On a good note, I drank water and nothing else. So that has to count for something! I am going to hit the gym tomorrow. Will be up in the morning to do cardio.

It is great! If you order it start off on low dose. I took the 3 caps. I did my cardio and then some! talk about multi tasking! So now I only take the 1 in the morning and 1 before evening workout. That is plenty. Really gives you that extra push and motivation to do things.
 
I just kicked my own ass in weight room! Ouch. Did chest and shoulders and cannot pick up my arms. The keyboard is as high as I can go! Got a good workout in thats for sure.

Breakfast: 3 egg whites, 1 whole egg

Did pretty good today. Woke up late so behind in meals...do I try and cram all of them in today? i have one meal left, it is 8:30pm, do I bother this late? Maybe I will hop on the treadmil afterwards for 45mins to balance it out.

Well, I was wide awake and running in circles at 4:30am. Why? I have no idea. Did cardio. Currently eating breakfast. I have found that I really like eating three egg whites and one whole egg. Don't think I could ever eat more than one whole egg. And to think, I REALLY loved the yolk in my over easy eggs. Not anymore! Off to work in about an hour. LOL nope, not that much snow. Just a few flury showers this morning. Warmed up to 54. I am really getting tired of cold weather. Summer come soon!
 
Well I got a decent workout in, but my stomach is still off. Something didn't agree with me. So, for dinner all I ate was a small peach. Really don't feel like eating anything else, might puke. I know, it is bad to skip food, but I ate something so I didn't go completely without food. My totals for today are:

carbs:113g (25%)
protein:189 (53%)

I have now lost 6lbs.!!!
 
I know what you mean about feeling sick after the pro shake. I've decided to stay off the shakes for a minute. Been eating the protein instead. My stomach just needs a breather from them. I can't imagine 2 shakes in a day - urrrrggggg
 
Well, I didn't get up on time this morning, hit the ground running. Breakfast was protein shake, meal 2 was a grapfruit. Lunch was 1 can of tuna, 1 cup salad with 1 tablespoon dressing and 1/2 cup cottage cheese. I was suprised this afternoon because it was my one year anniversary with the company I am with (which I will be leaving next week due to county takeover). Coworkers bought a small cake and hot fudge sundaes. Well, I tired to behave, I didn't have cake but they had a sundae made just the way I always liked them vanilla ice cream, hot fudge and peanuts. So, yes, it was a horrible addition to my diet, but I did not indulge in the cake or any of the other junk they had. I feel like total crap now having ate that sundae. I can't believe I used to LOVE those. I feel fat and slow now, it is just sitting there in my stomach. Yuck. Dinner will be lite, 4oz of fish with 1 cup salad and 1 cup broc. My fat is over the chart but calories are still in check and carbs aren't to bad.

I hurt like the dickens today! Really killed myself with weights yesterday. Did bi's and tri's. I was supposed to go to the gym and do legs tonight but I think I will take the day off and do light cardio. Tomorrow was my scheduled training day off so I will swap the two. I am having a hard time raising my arms above my head! Ouch! I have always had a huge problem with delayed onset muscle soreness. Any ideas on how to minimize the soreness? I am already taking glutamine.
 
Feeling better today. Ate pretty good, went out to lunch and while everyone else stuffed their fat faces with pizza, i had a large salad. When I am thin and muscular and they are still fat they will all be asking me "what did you take? what's your secret?" And of course, i will remind them of this day and say nothing else. If you want to acheive your goals, you must make sacrifices. Stuffing your face with pizza may seem like a great thing at the time, but when all the cheese and crust is sitting on your ass cheeks, you will ask yourself, "did it really taste THAT good?" Fools.

Ok lunch out today. Think I can do it! Had a light breakfast just in case. This has been a horrible diet week! I am still staying under in my cals. Fat is higher than it should be, but not that much over.

With every crunch I mutter "no pink bathing suit, no pink bathing suit" and voila' I seem to make it through my sets.

The "little one" on the end has the same color hair that I have. I don't want to wear a pink bathing suit and look like that.....and she's the tiny one!

I have this picture on my clipboard that I carry when I'm at the gym. Yes, I'm anal and I write everything down so I don't forget what exercises I've done and I make notes on my form, etc..
 
So I took my measurements this morning :bawling: man have I got a lot of work to do! I am going to try and find a pair of calipers, I live in small rural area and not really sure about how to find that 'dip" thing for bf measurements. Guess I could check with my doctor. Staying true to my diet today...except for the coffee, I never drink coffee but woke up this morning and craved a cup. Using splenda with no cream. Treadmil run is coming up soon followed by abs and heavy bag.

I thought I would add every violent smiliy I could after the week I just had! Tried to stay with diet best I could, did pretty good, but not as good as I should have. Workouts went out the window. Was my last week at my current job and starting a new job on Monday. What a mess! But thank god it is over! I am being a bum today to recoup from the week. Pick back up again tomorrow

I'M BAAAACK! Started a new job last Monday and have been very busy. Sticking to my diet for the most part, a lot of catered lunches but eating the "good" stuff offered. Not a lot of time but am doing cardio in the morning and weights in the evening.
