Mr. X help ckd diet,,, how hard in ketosis should you be

I am in my second week of the CKD diet. It has been a bitch so far. The first week I had cravings for carbs like I have never had before. I shit you not, I was having dreams about eating ice cream. So, on the 6th day I decide to buy a Ketosis test kit. I tested my piss and not ketones detected… AHHHH… Then my carb up day came, which happened to be easter,,, man was that ever nice. Okay, now I am in my second week day 4 and I am finally in Ketosis. The test showed me somewhere between small and moderate ketosis marks. I was between the 15 and 40 mg/dl range. Okay here is part one of my question how hard in ketosis do I need to be for effective fat burning? Part two, I have already dropped 13 lbs in 11 days. Is this too much weight. My strength for the most part has pretty much stayed the same. I did have some small losses in some areas but nothing major. I look flat as hell though.

Stats:

Height: 6’3”
Start weight: 254 lbs
Current Weight: 243
Start BF%: 13.5
Current BF: 11.5
Age: 29

My goal is to get to 6% BF and keep myself somewhere in the 220 to 225 lbs range.

yeah...

doesn't the overall feeling suck ass on the diet you are doing?

That feeling is pretty much commonplace among most CKD'ers.....

All that bubble gum CKD crap is not gonna fly in the future.........old shit.

from my understanding (not experience) the feeling is supposed to pass.

when i plugged my weight into mr.x's ckd chart, the calories were waaaay low. the last show i did, i was 5-700 calories higher than the numbers i got...and was losing 2lbs+ a week. does this sound weird?

any differences in LBM loss between CKD and conventional? i know what dr. atkins says, im interested in what people have experienced.
 
the feeling passes after a while,i actually like the feeling. The only thing that sucks is that you cant perform in the gym like you used to.Plus you should be showing trace faster than 4 days ( 2 days for me). From what i understand as long as your showing trace your cool.

maybe you're just blessed with a great metabolism! :rolly:
