I am in my second week of the CKD diet. It has been a bitch so far. The first week I had cravings for carbs like I have never had before. I shit you not, I was having dreams about eating ice cream. So, on the 6th day I decide to buy a Ketosis test kit. I tested my piss and not ketones detected… AHHHH… Then my carb up day came, which happened to be easter,,, man was that ever nice. Okay, now I am in my second week day 4 and I am finally in Ketosis. The test showed me somewhere between small and moderate ketosis marks. I was between the 15 and 40 mg/dl range. Okay here is part one of my question how hard in ketosis do I need to be for effective fat burning? Part two, I have already dropped 13 lbs in 11 days. Is this too much weight. My strength for the most part has pretty much stayed the same. I did have some small losses in some areas but nothing major. I look flat as hell though.

Age: 29
My goal is to get to 6% BF and keep myself somewhere in the 220 to 225 lbs range.
