Morning workout w/cardio...what should i eat before?..catabolic???

I'm used to doin cardio first thing in the morning on a empty stomach and my actual workouts in the evening. Due to a change in schedule i have to do both first thing in the morning now. What should i eat that will give me some fuel for my weight workout (about 45 mins) but be used up (so i use fat for fuel) by the time i hit cardio immediately after the weights?
 
if you cant squeeze two workouts in one day spaced out ne less than 6 hours apart, i'd advise you to only weight train.

either way, i dont like a.m weight training session. before my workouts, i eat a few meals.

example:

10a.m: breakfast (yes, i wake up late, you got a problem?)
noon: lunch
2p.m: workout
 
you may wanna eat some high glycemic carbs then. they will provide you with a fast burst of energy.

bread, pasta, potatoes, etc etc
 
Cardio on an empty stomach is yet another one of those "truths" that everyone repeats. Fact is, cardio on an empty stomach is going to help you burn more muscle than if you ate something. If you're going to do cardio, do it for it's real benefits: for your cardiovascular system, and to create a calorie deficit. You're not going to tap purely into fat stores with cardio without burning some muscle. Eat moderate carbs and some protein beforehand.
 
How long after you wake up do you plan on hitting the gym? That'll give us some kind of an idea on what foods for you to eat prior.

here;s the timeline

6:00am wakeup
6:20am out the door
6:30 arrive at gym

so about 7:15-7:30 i would be starting my cardio.
