mammary gland removal

ok. I've had gyno surgery. Am extremely sensitive. At the time I didn't know about getting the whole gland removed so I didn't. I've researched on here about getting the whole gland removed and several of you have said it could be done.

However, my surgeon(whom I get a discount thru) says that he can't remove the whole gland b/c my nipples would die and I would have to get skin grafts?? wtf?

I would love to be able to cycle w/out having to pump my body full of letro and aromasin and negating half of my gains but am I going to be able to do this w/ a little bit of the gland left?

Any info would be greatly appreciated guys. Thx in advance.

maybe just take a little armidex every few days to prevent gyno. Thats or proviron. I have gyno. I have been treating it w letro and cabaser and it has gotten much much better. what did you pay for surgery? Where r u located? I may be intrested myself.

I have a little gyno but nobody pays me to stand around in trunks so I really don't care. The only time it gave me any trouble at all was when I ran a lot ( would regularly do fifteen mile runs ). One time I got back from a run and the hole front of my white tee shirt was red with blood. I didn't have a clue what was going on until one day I say on TV somebody running a long race, I can't remember how long but it was miles, and the area right around his nips were soaked in blood. The Tee shirt rubs against the nips and makes them raw and they bleed. Once I realized what was happening I didn't care anymore.

So if you aren't getting paid to stand around with posing trunks who cares if you have a little gyno.

But I think I should add when I was on chemo for lymphoma I met a guy that had breast cancer. It does happen. About one percent of the cases of breast cancer are men. So as you get older keep an eye on it and talk about it with your doctor.

I have never heard of the nipple dying.

I had gyno surgery. They removed the glands. By the sounds of it did they only do lipo the first time? For me thay had to suck out fat via lipo and they had to remove the glands. Removing the glands is a must because that is what causes the nips to pop out.

I would see another doc. Removing the glands is a simple procedure. They make a very small incision under the areola of the nipple and pull it out. I can't even see the scar from it anymore.

Ive heard of the nipple sinking in because of the creater left behind after the gland was removed, but never heard of tissue die off.

You can't pull it out like a tooth. It has to be dissected out, separating it from the surrounding structures that it is adherent to. You also have to make it sure that blood supply to overlying skin is not compromised.

Skills of the surgeon are extremely important. Go to someone who frequently does this procedure.

thx guys. I appreciate the responses!!

I'm in the Atlanta area. the procedure cost a little over 4 grand but I had to get lipo too. I don't mind having a little lump, I've got one now under my left nipple. it's just the amount of ai's I take to keep from getting big lumps. It's crazy. Arimidex does literately nothing for me. I'm 6 wks out of my cycle and still taking 12.5 mg of aromasin ed and STILL feel itchy on my left nip. It's nuts. Im just happy to not be using letro so my girlfriend has some use for me. Seriously though, the letro, while very effective, kinda makes me feel shitty on top of the complete lack of sex drive. better than growing tits though...

If I do it again it'll cost a little under 2 grand but he's saying he HAS to leave in part of the gland. I'm going to see him next week so I'll keep you all updated. The procedure would be much simpler this time and I could use local anthestetic. I might look for another surgeon but I have a friend who works there and in the atl area 2 grand for the procedure is relatively cheap...

I just ran a 14 wk cycle of test at 300 and primo at 600 for my 3rd cycle. kept my calories up and had a solid workout plan. Gained 5 pds of muscle. I imagine the gains could have been a lot better if I hadn't been taking 1.25mg of letro daily.....

It's not even puffiness so much as it just starts burning and itching and I can feel a lump forming. It's crazy how fast it happens. aromasin seems to be holding it off but i'm also 7 wks out of cycle and about to taper off completely.
