What are some of the big problems you face meeting your cal needs for the day.
Is it the shitty tasting food you eat? Is it time? is it money? what meals do you have the most problems with? is it lunch, brunch, dinner, post work out? I want to hear what your diet problems are. I want to hear what kind of advice can help when it comes to cooking and eating food on cycle. Most of us eat 6 meals a day. What meal is the hardest for you and why?

I think we all know that diet is key. Diet is number 1 above everything else. It is the number 1 factor in all things yet we spend so little time talking about it. Lets dive into the the number 1 factor for a wile and see were we all need help.

For me breakfast is the hardest. I'm not a morning person. Have to get up at 6am for work so I find it hard to get up with enough time to even down a protein shake and eat some fruit.

i honestly dont know how people who actually have a real job fit in six meals a day.. i eat a decent breakfast.. i eat lunch when i can at work..i have a protien shake at work than have dinner at home. after my workout i have another shake.. i just dont have the time.. i wake up at 4 am in the morning get to work at 500am and then work till 500pm.. very face pace job.. thank god its only 3 or 4 days of the week it rotates...

So something that you can just add some water to eat it and go would be nice?
Something instant but still healthy right?

Right. You need supplements like that with my long hours. Yeah, I can get up even earlier to make a full breakfast but then I cut down on the second most important thing we need - sleep

for breakfast i eat 2 whole wheat bagels and 2 hard boiled eggs.. pretty easy there.. thank i have a a few baked ocean pearch filets or roughy filtes with some brown rice.. then protein shake.. i come home and eat 2 good size chicken breast with brown rice.. i wo then come home and drink protein shake.. then i snack on some assorted nuts and fruit and goo to bed.. im not getting enough cals.. i dont have much time to prepare food. im still learning to cook.. i need to squeeze in some more meals

Hate to go against the grain here but I don't think diet is that hard. Or shouldn't be. If you know you have to get X amount of protein, just do a little planning. Ask Tatyana or anyone who's read my books about my views on diet. I think it's the most OVER rated aspect of bodybuilding. But when I say that I wind up defending to people who think I'm saying it doesn't matter what you eat. Not true. It just isn't that hard to eat a balanced diet with the right amount of calories IMO. You don;t have to be a fanatic. If you don't understand this basic premise, then it'll take more detailed elucidation than I can give in a post. That's why I wrote a book. :)

Nothing is as good as real food bro. I got recipes that give you all the cals you need and they can be made moths in advance. You can wake up add some hot water to something and eat it. It will have all the cals you need. Best of all it is whole food, and good for you.
