Lipodrene pills and lifting for fat loss?

specs: 17 yrs 6'5'' 290 football player (dont know fat %)

im currently taking lipodrene (w/ ephedra) in attempt to lose weight.. my question is that im wondering if eating lightly, lipodrene pills, and lifting as apposed to cardio will help me lose fat weight. i do some cardio as i get bored but i slowed it down alot and picked up lifting hard again in attempt to replace the muscle loss. i eat twice a day. always a gilled chicken salad for lunch and i never eat anything other than a small dinner and never after 7. then i go to the gym around 5-7 and lift for about 3 hrs and do a little cardio. im not very experienced in this as this is the first diet of my life.. now that HS football is over, im ready to lose the fat. also, rationing food isnt a problem as long as im on these pills.. i can eat very little.. also, im not interested in sorting my foods. like oats, wheat etc. will this stunt work?

simple answer, you are overtraining.

1) you don't need any thermogenics at 17 y/o
2) you need to dial in your diet
3) cut down on your workouts / cardio to 1 - 1 1/2 of training 3 days/week and do cardio 2days/wk at 30min
