Liftbigs Training Journal

not as often as i should probably. i usually do them occaisonally when im not getting ready for a meet. and when im close to a meet like i am now i add them in at about 5-6 weeks away. mostly to start working on my technigue. thats the most important thing for me in the deadlift. all the other exercises i do, make the muscle that deadlift strong, i just have to put myself in the best position and use my leverages to an advantage instead of a disadvantage.

Just reading some more for a reality check...wow.

As far as videos...I can pm/email you my home addy and you can send me tapes and I can turn them into a video file for you.

i have a video camera but its old, and not digital. i would tape my meets, but i dont know how to get them on the pc without my camera, or if it possible.

The camera I use is also analog, not digital.
There is hardware you can buy for a reasonable price at Best Buy that you can plug the outputs of your camera into, and the software that comes with it will put into a large .avi file on your computer. Then I downloaded a free prgram that compresses it into .wmv files. (1/10 the size of the .avi.)

Sounds like a pain, but it was MUCH cheaper than buying a new digital cam-corder, and only takes about 5 minutes to record and compress a 10-15 sec video. (The length of the ones I have posted.)

Just FYI,
