A pound of romaine lettuce is $1.49. I figure I can have 2.2 oz. servings or so a day, so it'll be done in roughly a week. Is this okay? It's not a lot, but I don't know how many green leafy veggies I should have a day.
Okay, so a head of romaine lettuce I found to be $1.5. Probably like 4 tons of it for $5 at Costco, but that I'll find out next time I go.
Anyway, a pound is 16 oz. You eat a pound of lettuce a day, or close to?
How much is 3-4 cups?
I can probably do without it, really. Not going to suddenly tack 10 years onto my lifespan. Still, if it's able to fit into my budget and has enough benefits I'd do it. Maybe tomatoes are a better choice.
