Letting Loose While On Cycle......

Who drinks 1 maybe 2 days a week while on a cycle?? Please keep it real and don't post ''I never drink a sip of alcohol while on''. If you really don't drink at all how do you do it? Sometimes on the weekends it's hard to pass up a few drinks.
 
Usually I just offer to be the DD and nobody really criticizes me. Sometimes I'll have the bartender sneak an O'Douls into a glass so everybody thinks I'm drinking with them, but in all reality I could drink those all night and not even be buzzed. Kinda gay but it works for me. Plus I can't afford a DUI and all my friends are alcoholics, so they don't drive. Lol
 
Once a week and only if I have an off day after and I get fuckin wasted talking bout 10 drinks atleast hah
 
I have a glass of wine a night. But at 32 I don't get drunk anymore at all. Last time was new years eve last year. I pissed away the whole new years day hung over. But the Ducks lost and it made me feel better.
 
It's just tough but I guess it's the people we hang out with that determines what we do. I usually eat clean like a champ and train like an animal all week but when the weekend comes around obviously everyone I know wants to go out to a club or bar which means boozin. I guess it's good to keep a good balance in life as long as it's in moderation. It would be miserable to never party a little bit and go out and be social. Who wants to live like that
 
i had a couple sips of wine while on vacation and immediately felt something wrong. i hadn't drank anything in probably 2 years.

how do i not drink? i guess I am not addicted to things like others.. i really dont see any health benefits to drinking alcohol, I don't see a point. i can have a good time without alcohol.

i am going to a wedding tomorow and dont plan on drinking even though i'm sure everyone will be.

yes... the people i hang out with including women are in to an active lifestyle.. there is very little to no drinking amongst all of us.

same thing with smoking.. i run away from smokers, its nasty, and it bothers me and rude to smoke in front of others. the friends of mine who smoke are weak minded douchebags and I dont hang with them. these are the same friends who automatically assume I'm on steroids and don't respect the fact I worked my ass off while on and off to look like this.

This is why we train hard - to look good and fist pump like champs at the club, what good is it if you can only look good at the gym or on the beach. Go out to clubs have some drinks, have fun, and take your liver support.

When I cycled in college I drank all the time while on. Now, not so much, only because I have a 20 month old waking me up every morning at 6am or earlier regardless of how I feel.

Usually for me its splitting a bottle of wine with my wife on a friday night, or 3 Dogfish Heads on Friday and save the other 3 for football on Sunday.

lol. I smoke cigs, horrible for you, but i smoke probably 5 a day. Still stupid as hell i know. especially on cycle. As far as drinking i just dont hang out with ppl that drink, if iI go to a club or partyin somewhere of course ill drink tho, like you said everything in moderation

Call of Duty, pop a few caps in someone you know is a real person on the other end of that controller and know you're better than someone at something. It feels good to kill virtual people and not have any consequences unless you happen to get a shitty spawn point or something.

I wonder if it's an age thing too? I used to party a fair bit and it was a great way to blow off steam and let loose. I've found in the last couple of years though and since I started training more seriously, I can't do it anymore. I remember the days of "the best thing for a hangover is another beer" and now it would take me a few days and a bottle of tylenol to recover from just one night of decent drinking. It's not that fun anymore and with training and dieting, not worth it, especially during prep time. I can relate to stevesmi ...a glass of wine and I feel off. Sad, I know!

You find other ways...sex is always a good one. I took up muay thai. Nothing like punching something to help you feel better. ;)
 
I go out drinking at least once a month. Spending this much time counting calories and lifting iron, its awsomme to put on a thight shirt and enjoy the sexual attention from girls who have drinked up their nerve. Its one of only a few perks with this lifestyle. I might add that in my country we have a awfull drinking culture. Not really looking forward to putting on my suit and refusing the drunkest ones entrance at my weekend-job in just a few hours.
 
Probably a good party night once a month. Beyond that I don't like being hung over. The next two days after I drink I can't lift what I could and my focus is off. Feels like I get set back and its frustrating and not worth it. I avoid it when possible but I do have a great time with friends when we go out.
 
I come from a long line of serious alcoholic's, smokers/pot smokers from both sides of my family.

Strangely I am the only guy in the entire family that isn't addicted to a drug. You could say I like aas, but I'm not actually addicted to them.

If anything I'm addicted to caffeine, but even then I drink a 5 hour energy and a 12oz red bull a day usually which in actuality is less than most coffee or soda drinkers.

I got real tired of drinking. I drank alot with my so-called friends in high school. I'm talking 2-40oz Old E Malt Liquor's a night on top of weed and smokes. After about a year of it I just got tired of it.

Granted, drinking once or twice a week, hell even every night if it's in moderation is one thing, but it's certainly not ideal.

I drink 1-2 beers nowadays and regardless of how well I hydrate and take some advil I still feel abit "off" the next day.

Now days I just have no interest in drinking and especially have no interest for the bullshit club scene.
 
Ill be real with u not like some that say they dont see why people drink... I love to drink, and when i do drink i DRINK i get wasted basically everytime... however when you are on cycle you have to think whats more important results or havin a little extra fun. use the juice as ur replacement for drinking... i personally think u will recieve good results even if you drink on cycle , i know plenty of people who do. however i feel you coul be getting much better results without the alcohol...... DONT WASTE UR TIME AND MONEY BY DRINKING ON CYCLE
 
Its age I am 32 married with a 12 year. I watch football for fun and lift weights to relax from my job. When I was younger I did it all and it never got me anywhere. At 25 I decided I was done with that life. Since then I have built up things financially and career and family. Also i only drank to get laid and now I get laid no matter what....

I drink the ODD time if it comes up, I don't go looking to do it, I mean I will have the odd beer with dinner or something but if I am going to have a pile of drinks with a friend one night I will make sure I have plenty of water before and after the drinks, plus some cranberries or something.

thats like a staple in nmy daily diet now lol..same here i use to be a party king..but i was also the go to man for whatever you wanted to get on for the soo yea lol if u got dope u got people to party wiht but ,,i drunk one beer at my freinds a couple months back..and i set the beer down i felt..like a dif perosn i couldnt do it.im not that perosn anymore..

Honestly I can't have fun going out without alcohol. And quite frankly, drinking is one of the most fun activities you can do with the right people. All my friends get trashed every week, so the temptation is always there. I see no reason to forego having fun. I know I don't have the genetics to be an ifbb pro

Life is short and I think you should go for it and have fun when you can. Really, for me, it was probably turning 35 or 36 when I really started to notice a difference. Age is definitely a factor...dammit! ;)
 
If in Party Mode which you have to do with New GF, ONLY once a week, and day off next day where you drink water like its going out of style.

As for me I have one large glass of wine every week or so to make sure I sleep a good 10 hours, since the other days sleep is broken up.
 
having a girlfriend changes everything. Drinking excessively happens less if you have one. Being single, all you ever want to do is get drunk with everyone and find some pussy at the bars. Isn't drinking heavily all about trying to score anyways?
 
When not on cycle, I drink every weekend. I still make sure to follow my diet and workout routine. When on cycle, I only drink on special occasions, such as friends birthdays or whatever. Why work so hard to look good when you never go out? It makes no sense. When on cycle, I will go out one weekend to the bars and there will be dime pieces everywhere, and then you see a bunch of fat balding dudes and all the ladies there want you. That's what it's all about. You don't even have to try at that point.

You either look like shit and work for the pussy, or you work for your body and let the pussy come to you. That's my motto. Actually I just made it up but it sounds pretty cool.

I dont go out.or else I end up drinking/going back home after an hour. it sucks yeah.
 
Im 36, getting ready to have my first boy in about a week. I run a car dealership, have stress out the ass with family, friends dying of cancer, relitives dying, ect...... I have taking juice since around 22. Now I have never abused steroids, by that I mean maybe 1 a year, with breaks inbetween. Probably 8 totall cycles.small doses. Anyway LIFE IS VERY SHORT AND NOT FAIR, I hate saying there is always someone worse off, which is true. That being said enjoy your life. Have a drink if you want to, dont abuse anything. Dont worry about what other people say or do. Your family is the only thing that matters That and your close friends. I have like 3 really close friends. Go to work, enjoy your family, and when you get a chance have some fun. If you want to drink then do so. Im not saying to eat dbol and drink whiskey just be smart and pay attention to your body and bloodwork and youl be ok.

That's all great advice. Bottom line is to enjoy life and keep everything in moderation because there is truth in having too much of a good thing.
 
only on the cheat day that i have a new york style pizza ,a frosted mug of draft michelob lite does it for me.

Never if I train heavy the next day...... today for thanksgiving I had one beer.....

other than a special occasion.... never

why would I give up bread, spend a whole day a week cooking so I can have 6 meals a day ready to eat ( and so my wife can do the same), give up most of m social life so I can manage work, grad classes, and training, risk my job to push my powerlifting total up a few hundred more pounds, not to mention the hundreds of dollars on food, supplements, vitamins, etc..... then take two steps back because I want to go out and drink every weekend?
