I'm slowly climbing my slope that I have devised just for me. Hence, my timing is right on the money, which is crucial in relation to hitting a BB show. I'm still in that "conditioning phase," and will probably stay there until my muscles are adapted to that phase; then I will insert some roids, but I will start out with low doses and increase the dosage as I grow and adapt to that dose, and continue to adjust my dosage depending on the way I look and feel. I'm sort of reluctant to post my "tentative cycle" because people get fixated and fascinated with cycles, which is absurd. People tend to focus on the roids instead of the fundamental things that make you grow: diet, rest, timing, and proper training. Then they want to know why this isn't working and why they are not growing, and why that isn't working; that's because their focus is in the wrong area and they have become roid-dependant and end up with a frustrating experience.
My diet is checked! I'm still eating 6 meals a day, and still have a 40:25 protein to carb ratio. I will increase my ratio as my body grows and adapts to that ratio; usually increase 10 grams for both protein and carbs as we gradually climb the slope and reach a plateau, then adjust things to reach the next plateau. Knowing my body, I will end up inserting one or two more meals before it is all over. Again, I can't be anxious, I have to be cool and listen to my body and not try to force things. The worst thing a BB can do is force things to happen and start inserting 1,000 different things into their regimen; that is a bad idea because overloading your system with a bunch of exogenous stuff eventually will cause a malfunction somewhere.
Carbohydrates: a bodybuilders best friend. Carbohydrates provide energy for vigorous weight training and enhances endurance, which what we want to mash the f*ck out of whatever we are training without getting fatigued. Adequate intake of carbohydrates ensures enough energy to carry out daily activities so that the body does not have to break down protein stores; this is the most important benefit from carbs because we all know or should know protein is critical for muscle growth. The more protein your body utilizes the more muscle you pack on, which is the main objective of a BBer.
B12 in conjuction with carbs; Vitamin B12 is needed for energy production. It helps your body turn food into fuel. Glucose is your body's primary fuel source. When you eat carbohydrates, such as vegetables, fruits, beans and grains, B12 helps your body convert them to glucose to fuel your body, which is ideal for packing on muscle.
NTBM's Gear: I have to admit I'm not really a sup guy but I love NTBM's gear because it makes my muscles look fuller and helps me to keep constant "nitrogen retention," which is synonymous with being in an "anabolic state." I eat every 2 1/2 hours, so I take 2 gear capsules between meals. Example: eat then an 1hr 15 minutes later take 2 gear capsules, 1hr 15 minutes eat again and keep repeating that cycle throughout the day and night.. It works for me, it might work for..
I obliterated arms tonight.. 9 sets for BIs and 9 sets for TRIs. Again, weight does not matter, mechanics, form, isolation, and getting a nice pump matters. Mission accomplished.. I trained for about 40 minutes. Took 30 seconds between sets and stayed with high reps, which is ideal for getting jacked. Now, for all you folks who are so impressed with people doing heavy weight pay attention. Going heavy is great as long as you can do high reps, now I'm talking to BBers; people can train however they want, but if you are anticipating a career in BB you will have to adjust your training to fit a BB's needs. I will reiterate what I already said, I can bench 500, squat 600, dead 600 all for a triple anytime I feel like it. However, that type of training is an antagonist to a BB. Soooo I personally avoid that type of training with the greatest care. Now, I'm talking to people who want to BB and compete; everyone's goals on this site are different, so I don't knock what other people do. This is purely my perspective!!
Goal: 250-253 di, di, diced!!! By mid-July..
