Hey everyone - so i had my breast augmentation and i'm back at the gym for a week and a half now. I've been off fat burners for over 2 months now and i'm considering starting again - is it wise after surgery was 2 1/2 weeks ago - and if you don't feel it is - when would you recommend starting again????

I've decided to start with Syntrax Beta 3 b/c i've always had great results with their products - let me know what you think ladies please :)

i started my fatburner back up 3 weeks after, but i asked my doctor first. best bet is to ask your surgeon, he'll know whats best for you :)

I'm kinda nervous to ask my plastic surgeon b/c i know he's an advocate of strict dieting - no carbs after 12pm

What do you think i should do???

im no doc, so i cant say whats good for you. like i said, i started mine back up 3 weeks after surgery. dont be nervous about asking your doctor any questions. worst thing to do is be nervous asking questions to your own doctor.

just ask him, no harm :)

"strict dieting" is in the eye of the beholder -- your diet depends on what your goals are and what works for your body. His diet may be great for him, but not you. He, nor any person w/ experience in dieting, has any business projecting their diet onto you as the one and only way to "do it". Doesn't sound like he's a nutritional expert so what he says can possibly only be his opinion. The bigger issue that you should be concerned about is the stress of the fat burners on your body that just went thru a serious invasive surgery.

Ask the guy -- his opinion on when to eat carbs is irrelevant.

Hey Sassy - i totally hear what your saying because it's invasive surgery to hold off. I know the doctor is going to say not to take fatburners b/c he's told me in the past that he doesn't know what they are really - so i'm on my own. I've looked on breastimplants4you.com and some woman have started as early as 2 1/2 weeks after surgery and others 6 weeks, etc - In you're opinion what would you do???

Take one and see how you feel. Its been 2 months right? I'm sure you're well recovered, unless you have some outstanding conditions, just try it and see how you feel.

Over or under--if over you should be all healed up. If under you should be close, about a month out--did your doc tell you not to take aspirin (or Motrin) for a certain time after? If he did, are you past that point yet? If he didn't, tell him you heard aspirin can slow healing and you've been avoiding since your surgery but you've got a killer headache and want to take Excedrin--if he's got nothing to say, should be ok. The aspirin is abut the only thing in your typical ECA mixes that'll MAY (or may not) be an issue.
