Jogging...

I am 270...prob b/w 20-25% bf...
Looking to trim down a bit...I planned to be 270 in late AUG so i am a little early, so planning to cut down and bulk one last bit to keep muscle to fat as high as i can...I also figure eating big will help come test time...

As for jogging...how catabolic is it? How long should i go? Or should i just do HIIT instead? if anyone has any HIIT links that would be greatly appreciated...

You're a football player which is enough of a reason to forget jogging and do sports-specific cardio.

Sprinting, agility drills, weighted and non-weighted GPP etc...

Sprinting, is a great way to put on muscle and lose fat at the same time...perfect for "bulking with control."
 
Yeah i started sprinting...it was nuts...and assuming i still ate the same amount of food put on like 5 pds in weeks...
Might be the R-ALA as well..
 
don't even think about jogging if you are planning on playing ball, when was the last time you jogged during a game? On the way in and off the field. If you want I could give you a hundred different things to do to improve your speed and body comp at th same time.......remember you are only given a certain amount of recovery ability so the answer is almost never work more, it is work smarter and more effecient.
 
Hey..if u have any things i could do that i haven;t heard of yet...ie..agilities..sprints...weighted sprints..jumprope...then i would be very happy...
