it has 18 in 1 including leg press all for $400 its mostly for my girl but i'll use it once in a while besides going to the gym. is it worththe $$? th nicer ones goes for 1500 + and i can't afford those but i figured its good mostly for females.

Dont buy those home gyms. IF you can get to a real gym (ie. Powerhouse, Golds, etc), dont waste your money on his home gym. You will be better off to spend the membership money than the money on that piece.

well i have a free gym which i can only attend twice a week due to work and driving distance so i need something at home for me to get my 3 days a week workout in and my girl needs something for her to get workout routine in as well so i need a multi station but the ones out there that look good liek gyms are at over $1600 joe wieder has it for $400 but i'm going to go today and take a look at it and see if it cheapy shit or not going to Sport's Authority

depending on what workouts you are going to be doing at home, you could just buy what you need. Like buy a bunch of dumbbells, straight bar, ez curl bar, french curl bar, and a bunch of free weights...

You could do bis and tris at home. Deadlifts and straight leg deadlifts.

Just some options.

I really don't understand all this bashing of home gyms. With discipline, creativity and general lifting knowledge, you can become absolutely huge via a home gym. Even if you have garbage equipment, you can still make incredible gains (as long as you have enough weight).

Not really bashing too hard. Look at what you said, "as long as you have enough weight". How many home gyms for $400 or so have enough weight to do leg presses, bench presses, lat pulldowns?? Not many I have seen. My cousin has a Weider home gym and it is JUNK. 220 is the max weight for the bench and pull down, and 300 is the max for leg presses. If he spends his money on a gym membership, he will have everything.

Well, a home gym is definitely what you make of it. You're right: an out-of-the-box Weider gym isn't going to do much for you. But I had an old, $20 DP bench for years, and I bought 305 lbs. of Olympic weights, and that served me well for a long time.
