Ok so again .....this might be long, but mportant ......
I have big legs ...I am trying to decrease size..I am not bodybuilding or competeting..Just looking to get a great fit body......I
started running for 7 yrs...kept me very thin, i used to run 4 miles in the morning and then at night i ran 4 miles on a bridge , high incline
my legs were never the heaviest part of me....I started weight training and found i put on muscle very easy....especially in my legs....well now i took a year off and just getting back into the training and my legs are HUGE not just muscular but fat too....am so self conscience about them....anyway i started running again ...my trainer is doing alot of lower body work with me..and he told me for cardio ALWAYS walk at an incline on the tredmill at 3.3, incline 10-12......he told me never to run the bridge because that will make my legs blow up more :worried: :worried: ......so,after being a runner.... now I walk to decrease my legs? Help please ...........I hope this made sense

OK, first start with this thread:

I'm also doing that sort of cardio. It sounds like you generally tend to hold your body fat & water in your legs. To a large degree, that is goign to depend on your diet & your ability to lose bodyfat. You can be dropping bodyfat but it will not be as apparent in your legs because that is where you tend to have a higher concentration of fat cells. So you just keep plugging away at the diet to get the results.

Hard to say on the cardio, but that's what I've been told as well.
