Hello!

I am considering going vegan, but I still want to be a bodybuilder... I am rather chunky and unhealthy as it is of right now.

Anyway, I found this blog from a guy who seems to be around my age (21) who is vegan and post some stuff about weight loss, supplements along with training... I don't know though how good his information is or what his sources are. I was hoping somebody could confirm if the information in his blog is accurate because maybe I could use it as some kind of bodybuilding manual then.

His blog is vegains.net - I didn't post a link because I doubt I can since this is my first post... I've been a member for quite a while but never posted a thing.

Anyway, thanks in advance guys!

in my honest opinion bodybuilding and veganism should not be used in the same sentence. esp. if you use AAS

Well, like I said I am 21 and have barely gotten into bodybuilding. I did make some gains earlier this year but I lost it all. Before last summer I hadn't been to the gym once. I am definitely not ready for anabolic steroids but I am wondering if it is possible to be a bodybuilder and a vegan and if so, is this guys way the way to go?

it is possible but definitely not optimal. if you do it for ethical reason then all the power to you but its not the most effective way to build muscle
