Interval Cardio vs Low Intensity Cardio

I pick Interval Cardio

A few days ago I switched from 30 min on a ellipitical or a treadmill to 10 sets of 30sec sprint + 1 min walk. This new routine kicked my ass and I broke the plateau that I hit.

Interval Cardio kicks my ass, I feel like total hell afterwards. I'm doing this on a CKD.

If the interval training kicks your ass, is it possible that it will interfear with regular resistance training in terms of recovery. I have never run or sprinted on a regular basis, but sprinting seems somewhat anerobic to me.

I am not doubting, i honestly am ignorant on this, just trying to learn.

Regardless of whether you're looking to lose fat or improve your conditioning, neglect high intensity cardio at your peril.

I get plenty of cardio in my regular workout. I agree, though, your heart does need the work.

The interval kicked your ass because it's new and your body wasn't expecting it. Your best bet is to mix it up regularly. Intervals one day, long low intensity another, moderate intensity sustained another.
