I am fairly new to all of this. But my son is 16 and has been over weight for about 5 years. He didn't exersize at all. He just sat around and watched tv and played video games. He is 5'8" and weighed 200 lbs. All he did was join a basket ball team and started exercizing and lifting weights EVERYDAY. He didn't change his diet at all (at first). He dropped 10 pounds just by getting of his butt. (I'm not implying that you don't exercize) Now he is changing his diet, and I can see that his muscle is being defined and he looks like he dropped another 5 to 10 pounds of body fat. I'm not sure what your situtation is, but when you are young, most of the problem is drinking soda all of the time. 5 sodas can add up to 800 calories....eliminate that and in a week you should loose a couple of pounds.
