can someone give me a tip on how to keep my protein shakes from gettin so frothy and "airy"? i always blend them up on the lowest setting but even then the shakes get ridiculously frothy. its disgusting. its like a beer thats all head. help a brother out!

Yes i have always had the same problem........... go to GNC and get their mixer . It is the best thing i have ever bought from them . It has a measurement scale on the side , Its big enough for any amount , It is easy to clean ,Its only 5 dollars, It also has a little piece that goes in front of the top so when u drink it catches the clumps , if there are any..........

Honestly i would not do with out one of these things. Just put ur protein in and milk or water, shake for like 10 seconds and ur done ...

great idea wannabebig...they are great shakers, cheap, and well worth the money. Their are many advantages to using them!

I eat my protein powder out of a small plastic bowl. I put in the powder and add small amounts of water until I make a pudding consistency. Then I just drink plenty of water.

Hey stryc 9 about how much water per scoup of protein do u use, that pudding thing sounds like a good idea.... the other day i used one scoop and made some hot chocolate protein... yummy...

I think it depends on the brand. Some of the stuff I buy gets frothy, some does not. If you're not watching your carbs it can be yummy to mix it into cooked oatmeal.

I prefer the texture of a shake in a shaker than a shake in the blender. But that's just me.

I usually have two scoops of protein with 1/4 cup steel cut oats at work. just pour is a little bit of water and eat it up with a spoon. Great way to get your protein and carb fix at the same time.
