I Lost Over 60 Pounds And Feel Like Crap!

You are doing something wrong or are genetically challenged. Areyou losing strength at a high rate? Are you practically starving yourself? Were your muscles even big to begin with? Are you on anything like AAS to preserve your muscle? You should be ripped by now -- after 65 lbs????? Have you ever looked good -- muscular with a low bodyfat?

The wood---

Don't fall for this now. Your mind is playing tricks on you. Do not put any stock into the iea that you should be ripped and muscular by now. That is ludicrous.

I remember when you started this--think back.

Now, you've done a hell of a job so far. Here's what I recommend. Stop worrying about the scalar weight for a little bit. Let's start concentrating on getting you looking muscular and lean, ok? As far as how much fat you had, well--you had a LOT. Don't be surprised if you find that you are only holding about 160lb of quality. It's nothing to be alarmed about.

Remember, I weigh 175 at your height and I've been training a long time. I'm lean. At my strongest, though, I weighed about 165.

A lot of guys around here will tell you that its easy to be 5'10", about 170lbs and RIPPED.

No it isn't. Not at all. So what if you get down to 155, 160? What exactly is the problem with that? You can ALWAYS add muscle, bro. It's a lot easier than shedding fat, believe me.

So, recalibrate your thinking right now. Let yourself get to about 170-ish and let's look at things then. In the meanwhile, do NOT fool yourself into thinking you are too small. QUALITY is all that matters, ok? That is all that matters.

Congratulations on your accomplishment, BTW. A job well done so far, and I mean that. Email me if you need anything at all.

Hey bro I know how you are feeling. I'm also 5'10". I played football, wrestled, and did hammer throw in high school and was about 180lbs, ripped, and lean as hell (I have a naturally large frame and am a mesomorph so I'm pretty lucky in that respect). That's on top of all the physical training I did everyday because it was a military school. About 4 hours of my day was working out.

When I got to college I just stopped working out, became sedintary, but kept eating about 6000 calories a day and started drinking heavily and smoking pot (ahhh... college). Before I knew it, it was five years later and about a million jack in the box runs later and I weighed 330 lbs (no that's not a typo) and had lost a lot of muscle from not using it.

It took me 18 months of hard work and dieting to get to 200lbs and I felt incredibly small even though this was "bigger" than I was at my healthiest. I just knew I didn't want to go back to being fat so I started hitting the weight room again. The number on the scale didn't change much but that was because I was gaining muscle and losing fat. I've stuck with it and now I'm big (185 lbs) but in the RIGHT way. I'm just working on cutting now and I'll have the body I want when I'm done.

Just stick with your diet and keep working out. The more muscle you add the faster the remaining fat will come off because of the metabolic increase. Anytime I start to feel like I'm too small or not strong enough I go work out and I don't have to worry about it anymore.

Just go to the mall and look around and take heart in the fact that you have managed to accomplish already what 80% of the people you see haven't. It takes a lot of dedication and willpower to do what you've done. As far as I'm concerned you are one hell of a strong person and I know you'll reach your goal if you just keep your head up and stay patient.

well guys ,im still steadily losing fat and plan on doing a bulking cycle around the beggining of august,im currently 188 and probably got 15 pounds of fat to lose.when i started this journey,i was 257 pounds and had a 42 inch waist.my bodyfat was over 40%.i had to struggle just to do things like walk or tie my shoes,i remember having to wait an hour after eating to put my shoes on because the bloat would prevent me from bending over that far.i lost the weight by getting on the swolegenix diet,i started with 45 min a day and kept that up for about 3 or 4 months, then when i came to a plateau ,i added another 45 min session after my last meal b4 bedtime,i did that for 2-3 months,i came to a plateau again, then i upped it to 2 hour long cardio sessions a dau ,1 in the morning and one at night b4 bedtime, and thats where im at now,i dont think ill have to add anymore cardio.just remember guys, when trying to bulk, dont just eat everything in site!this is important!get a a very good diet.diet is the biggest part of roid use!i will heavily monitor my diet for the rest of my life!i will make sure everything is perfect b4 the start of each cycle from here on out.

after readinr your guyses posts i feel real good about what ive accomplished,so i look a lot small er??????so what!ive lost almost 70 pounds!of course im gonna look smaller, but i also look a hell of a lot better,at least i wont be ashamed to take my shirt off!at least i can move around with ease!at least i dont haveta have a stroke just trying to whipe my ass!im gonna make sure every last bit of flab is gone b4 i bulk?!!from here on out, everything will be done the right way and ill be patient about it!

This happenned to me too. I played D1 college football and I was on offensive lineman with the lineman build. I am 6'4 and at the time was playing between 300-310 lbs. When I tore out my shoulder I couldn't play anymore and I dropped all the way down to 250. People started telling me my legs looked small and that I looked skinny compared to what I used to be. This pissed me off so much that I stopped doing cardio and just bulk up. I'm 275 right now, I look a lot more defined than I ever was before but, I was so pissed that someone would call me small that I got on the gear to make sure it never happpenned again.

Dude, if you are going to bulk, don't add more than an extra 500 calories per day -- all protein. That's an extra 3500 calories per week -- the same amount of calories to add a lb of fat. Muscle does not require the same amount of calories because a lot of muscle weight is made up of water. Otherwise, you will put yourself in the same position of having to lose too much weight. Don't go too drastically -- from one extreme to another.
