I Have A Question... Reguarding Water

Hey I am a lurker long time member changed my screen name a couple times. I have a question - I am getting married in three weeks. I have reached my goals and I am not trying to lose weight but I do need some advice over the next three weeks about water.

I would like to drop as much water as I can before my wedding - I want to look my absolute best for the most important day of my life!

I already have cut out salt/sod. out of my diet, and carbs , I know about asparagus, etc. Can someone reccomend a certain diretic or have a special system I can follow or something that you did to drop water fast?

I hope this is not a dumb / repetitive question.

i would like to know the same thing...

It's crazy expensive but my girlfriend used it for her wedding.

Star Caps - I don't know where she got them though (I just called her for the name and she said she didn't remember)

She had terrible headaches the first few days but it did work.

Disclaimer: I imagine this is a diuretic so with that please don't anyone use this as a weight loss product - there is no quick and permanent fix to fat.

I wouldn't drop sodium NOW, it is too early.

How is your water intake right now? Keep it high (ABOVE 1 gallon) from now until the wedding.

Now.....lower your carbs, especially starchy carbs. But do not cut them out entirely.

The week of the wedding....

Cut out all starchy carbs 3 days before, including beans and veggies that cause gas (brocolli).

2 days before the wedding drop your sodium down really really low, basically nil. But keep water high.

I don't think you want to truely dehydrate yourself, you'll feel like crap and might pass out. Not good wedding day things. :)

Also, the week of the wedding, visit a dry sauna a few times, get a couple massages (can help move water out of the body), could eben get a body wrap a day or two before the wedding. The body wrap is TOTALLY temporary, but can help reduce temporary water retention.

Agreed! You'll be doing A LOT of standing that day, so you want to be feeling your best, not lightheaded, dizzy or nauseated. Do the dietary changes, but I'd avoid the diruetic. It's TOO important a day. Besides, there can be a rebound effect with those a few days later, and you don't want to be bloated on your honeymoon.

I would take as much salt with my food as possible for 2 weeks
and, then in the week preceding you wedding, cut out totaly sodium
