I froze my cawk off last night because I set the thermostat the wrong way

:lmao:

My thermostat has been set at 50 since last month. We have virtually NO oil in the tank and trying to stretch what's there. Season has been warm as hell and hubby and I are going to replace the tank this summer so we're buying just enough diesel to keep the furnace from sucking sludge and praying for an early spring.

Middle of the night piss calls are a real joy

In New Orleans we alternate from AC to heater and back often this time of the year.

Wow! Electric Blanket or Down Comfortor or both for you?

Lmao at pick's little cockcicle.

My furnace went out a few days ago and my house was stuck on about 49 degrees. I made a little jumper with some alligator clips and spare copper to bypass the temp regulator. works like a champ.

Actually neither, we just have a lightweight comforter over the top sheet and extra blankets over our feet. We have a Tempurpedic mattress. I do have a heating pad over my feet until the mattress warms up. If I forget to turn off the heating pad I'll wake up burning up.

Tempurpedics sleep really, reall warm (eventually), a down comforter is just too much, you get baked alive.

Although at first crawling into bed feels very much like crawling onto a block of ice. It is rock hard and ice cold. I sleep nekked so it's really :cold:
