seriously though: my best meet benches always come after a squat at meet time. for some reason, i just can't get the same psyche on for the bench.

there is dave tate's IPA meet in november which i am considering. hell there is another meet in oregon where i just did my last one in november as well. that was one fun as hell meet.

Well i Called over there and they said it is in Nov. There is some benching goign on in Sept at the bodybuilding show but the WPO is in New Orleans. I didnt hear it from KK himslef but his little guy there said it so. I am waiting on a Call next week from him when he gets back.

Irish, ya i could do a powerlifting meet but there isnt one until NOv. Belive me if miss the bench bash i will hit the full power meet at huge iron in Dec. I still may do it anyway. 3 meets in a month 1/2!! I have doneit before. I would do an IPA but its too far. Besides i am happy in the APA, APF, WPO. If those three were gone i would travel, but i am in the capitol of powerlifting. The home of the APA, APF, and WPO!! I got it good here, and you will too when you move back!!

yeah, maybe someday. man, it is like 90 degrees out every day here now and i am wishing for the rain and cold again. i cant walk 5 feet out of the house without breaking into a sweat.

i can only imagine what florida is like right now.


as far as meets go, i see a brightening in the future. brent mikesell got the APF chair in Washington and will be putting on a meet in April. That West Coast open meet is really kick ass... that's every june.

I am thinking about trying my hand at running a meet as well. it looks like it would be really rewarding if it was done well!
