Hey guys. This is my log of low carb dieting to go from 240 to hopefully 210-220 at 5'8. I have not maxed on any lifts since I started crossfit a few months ago. My one rep maxes are:
Deadlift 495
Bench press 300 with 2 second pause
Squat 385 below parallel.
All of my lifts were attwepted after a 5 month hiatus from any lifting. Never have done squats or deads that much, those are all raw as well. Once I get down to my desired weight I may or may not give up crossfit and engage in powerlifting. I'm seriously considering it. I think I have good genetics for it. I will take ANY advice you guys have to offer. Also, I will keep a log of what supps I'm running in addition to fish oil and a multi. Right now I'm only running Slin Sane(and this shit works). Thanks in advance bros!
Meal 1
Slin sane(2 caps) and then 20 min later 45g shake and 3/4 cups cooked oats
Crossfit workout
4 rounds of
90 reps w/ jump rope
30 dumbell snatches @ 35 lbs(15 each arm)
Time: 10:28
45g shake PWO
Meal 3
2 deer venison patties w/ ketchup and mayo
Meal 4
1 deer venison patty, 8 strips bacon, beef jerky(200g protein so far!)
Meal 5
2 beef patties(260g protein)
Meal 6
Probably going to be yet another protein shake. I just can't stay up much longer in order to get the OrbitNutrition recommended 350g protein. I will plan better tomorrow. Okay, eta I got the shake in. I'm going to get a food scale to weigh my deer venison patties. Should I weigh them cooked or un cooked? I estimate I got 310 min of protein. It was a chore but should get easier as I plan better next time. At the least, eggs and bacon in the am instead of a shake. Any suggestions for me, guys?
