if shes really athletic and plays sports, ask her when her game or meet is 'cause you wanna watch, and be like "i'm excited to see your guns!" or something like that

or if shes a theatre person ask about the play, and after you start a convo with her, but naturally joke with her (through a compliment is best) but you could say something like: yeah, well i'm getting my front row tickets, i'll see if you flinch when i wave at you

talk to her about something she enjoys and shell talk more. that way you will come to feel confortable enough to speak too.

So this is what im working on right now, getting my confidence level up. i seem to become a shy kid when im around girls, i dont know why. i never use to be like this, because i was a very talkative kid. i mean maybe because i hang around guys too much, almost all of my friends consists of guys.
My buddys tell me to talk more, but i dont talk when i dont have anything good to say. i feel like if i say something stupid in front of the girl, she'll think im a retard. im also very self concious, thats why my first step is getting bigger. so can someone give me some tips on being non-shy around girls, what are things i can say or do?
