Hello.

I just need to know something. Does it matter how much you train your arms ?

I change it up every 3 weeks. For 3 weeks I train arms- mon-wed-fri.

Then switch to training arms on-mondays & fridays for 3 weeks.

Then will train arms 1 day a week either a- tue. or a- thur. for 3 weeks.

I got my lower body to just the way I wanted it to look. I just wanted my arms to catch up to be more muscular.

Is one of the 3 ways I train better that the other ? Or am I ok changing it around the way I do ?

thanks !!!

No.

If you decided you were going to the mall you'd plan your route and then make the neccesary turns to get there, right? What you are doing now is like making random lefts and rights, which might eventually get you to the mall, though a hell of a lot more slowly than if you took a more direct route.

Because no one can tell you beforehand what routine is going to offer you the best results you need to experiment using a scientific approach. The basic methodology is to pick a routine and strictly adhere to it for at least 8 consecutive weeks. If you arent already, keep a training log to order to begin tracking what works for you and what doesnt.

Any routine is based on your training goals, and since I dont know what your's are for your arms I cant offer one. However, if you want to build muscle in your arms, then working them 7 days a week is way too frequent. Two to three times weekly is standard.

Define 'arms' .... you mean Biceps and Triceps? I only ask because some people also work Shoulders on 'arm day'.

Change is good in a workout program, but I am wondering if the method you are using is too much change......BUT how do YOU feel it is working? If you feel it is working well, then leave it be.

Finding the right training method (and diet) for you is going to be trial and error. You try something for a period of time (usually about 8weeks), then step back and analyze what the results were (or weren't). People can give input all day long on what they think, or what works for them....but you are the one that has to go out and "test drive" a training method to see if it works FOR YOU.
