Sniperwolf: Very valid point. I was training for contests only. My training is basically event related (tire flip, car flip, etc...). It was NOT perfect form...it was a cheat curl...but was NOT a St. Louis Arch curl either
We once did standing bb with 4 x20kg plates on the bar, just to see if we could. Cheated like fuck but did it for a couple of reps. Personally I prefer strict controlled movements though. Hit the muscle more directly and less chance of injuries.
I couldn't agree with you more strengthmonster. When I was younger it was all about weight. Now that I'm older and can't afford to be any less wiser, I'm more about form.
