How many of you gain lots of muscles on HIT training without "gear" ?

My friend did not gain anything within 2 months of 100% training! I really think it is only advertising...

Please let me know if you personally gain anything.

Thank you.

did you workout using HIT long enough?
how can you explain your position?

Most important, what system of training would you recommend from your expirience?

I think changeing up your routine, shocking your muscles can almost always lead to improvement.

I think HIT is nonsense.

I used to see the King of HIT, Mike Mentzer, at the gym every day for years. Mike ALWAYS looked like sh-t. He was a trainer at Gold's. His clients ALL looked like sh-t.

In all the years I new him, I rarely saw him take off his sweat shirt in public. He usually tried very hard to keep completely covered... even when it was damn hot in the summer. It always seemed he tried to keep himself covered because he new just how crappy he looked.

the neverending discussion about hit or volume will never stop;
everybody reacts different on training. some grow while they
make 20+ sets/bodypart, others do only 5-8 sets and get good
results. it's like with gear, some react well on only 250mg/week,
others need atleast +750mg/week.

IMO, if someone trains hard, his diet is correct and not forget to
recover well, he will grow.

HIT = HIIT?

Quick question for you guys on this subject... is the HIT you're talking about the same thing as HIIT (high intensity interval training)?

If we're thinking about the same thing, I wouldn't think that it'd be all that usefull for lifting purposes. I do, however, think it's incredibly usefull for cardio reasons. I've been doing it for a while now in the form of sprint training on an EFX machine and my cardio and endurance has never been better. This is great for fighters, wrestlers, or any athlete who needs short-burst endurance. Like I said though... I can't see this style of training being very effective (maybe even counter-productive and injury prone) for weightlifting.

Just my $.02

I can't agree more... HIT is king of cardio... worthless for building mass.

I've used a variation of HIT for about three. and a half years. I naturally went from 145 to about 180, with no increase in fat. The most I did was 8 sets for thighs and I grew pretty good. I do recomend 2 sets for beginner per exercise, without the forced reps for at least a coupla months.
