When cutting how low can cals actually go b4 the body goes into starvation mode and slows your metabolism. I always do BW * 12 to get my total cal number and Im 195 pounds (7% bf)but I can easily and comfortably take in 2000 cals a day even with lifting and 40 minutes cardio. I feel this is a little too low for me but its not hard to do. Do u think my metabolism will slow if I consistently do this?
