Help with a decent cutting routine

Hey everyone,
First I want to say thanks for any tips you guys share. Currently I am 28 years old with a solid background in lifting. I am 5ft 9 sitting at 188. My bf% is around 17-18 and I want to drop it below 15. My diet is alittle weak... a lot of weak. I am currently deployed so the food not the healthy.
I am cutting all sugars from my diet but it is hard to cut any carbs after 1500. I will have to drink alot of protein shakes and bars.
I want a good workout plan to help me fulfill my goals as much as possible. I do not mind doing splits or 5 days a week. I love the gym.
Thanks again for any help you all provide.

Short rests between sets(60sec at most), heavy, and volume(8-12+reps,5+sets). I did a progressive GVT a while back and liked it. Bunch of different variations you can do but found I liked it most supersetting the first couple with something else. Also all compound movements for main lifts barbells or dumbells. Also several re-composition programs incorporate Olympic style lifts supersetted with stuff like presses, pullups, Lunges, etc.(think almost like crossfit but not as fast paced,no rope climbs, and all that sruff)

My goal, is to cut my body fat by at least 5% and round out my muscles. I have a solid base but looking to want to have higher vascularity. Obviously I abs need to be more defined and more leg workouts. I dont know if this helped, if you need more details just let me know.

*The mondster,
Doing supersets with a minute break in-between sets. I am not a big fan of Olympic style lifts, If I do them I always use light weight so maintain proper form.

I wouldn't mind learning proper form and doing them but really want to find someone to coach me at first...don't need an injury, I got mouths to feed.
But the Higher reps and supersets...ex.DB bench and DB row, work pretty good. Different things work for different people. Best to pick one and try for a while. Main thing if wanting to cut is diet and extra moderate Cardio doesn't hurt.

There is a great workout routine on body builder its called hell raiser. It is for building but if you cut carbs and the excessive eating it can cut you great too without loosing too much muscle mass. I did it while I was deployed! It works really well. Your off days are cardio and on days is hard core workouts! Keep pushing. As far as food goes try to avoid high sodium foods. Stay "green" on the food lines. You know what I mean. Stay away from the soda and stick to water and maybe coffee. Out there I know it's hard because u like the little treats of goodness but stick to
It. If u have more questions let me know I got cut very well on deployment and just had surgery state side. It sucks because a lot of my muscle is going away but hitting the gym tnrw and get back in the groove :-)

Ill take a look at it. Currently I am hitting up MP on twitter with their workouts. They are pretty intense but I need to change it up. Thanks for the reply, its always good to have advice from those that are in or been in the same boat as yourself. You have no idea how hard it is to eat healthy where I'm at. So far I been making my own oatmeal in the morning and replacing dinner with tuna if nothing healthy is out. All soda is out of my diet along with candy.
Sorry to hear about your surgery, hope all is well and good luck in the gym! Stay focused.
