Big time problem guys and hopefully you can help. Right now i'm weighing in at a whopping 285lbs at 6'1"(around 19% bodyfat). I'm currently about 25-35lbs over my suggested playing weight for international play. I am in search of a good diet that will lead to good b/f lose as well as weight. I've been looking a lot at the CKD and ANPB diets, but the problem that arises is my activity levels. We do very intense training on tuesdays and thursdays for 2 hours which includes mostly sprinting and interval training. On top of that we train with weights 3 days a week, run 3 miles 4 days a week and have matches on Saturdays. As you can see, I need all the energy I can get. So any help would be apprectiated. By the way, I need to get down or around my target weight around Mid March. Thanks in advance.

You probably couldnt' do a CKD w/ high intensity training, but a high protein mod carb diet might be up your alley. Something like 50%protein/30%carbs/20%fat
training days: weight x 18

non training: weight x 15
50%protein/20%carbs/30%fat

Training days:
5130 cal
640g protein
384 g carbs
114 g fat

per meal 6 meals: 106g protein/64g carbs/19g fat

NON-training days:
4275 cal
534 g protein
213 g carbs
142 g fat

per meal 6 meals: 89 g protein/35g carbs/23g fat

Thanks Mr. X.

Do you think it would be alright if most of that protein came from powders, cuz that's a whole lot of meat to eat, even in one sitting.

Cheers
