Hi,
I'm new to the boards. I'm 21 and have been lifting on and off for about two years now but I'm planning to start lifting seriously. I'm hoping that joining this board will help keep me motivated. I'm planning to do a workout split of:
day 1 : Back and Biceps
day 2 : Legs and Abs
day 3 : Chest, Triceps, and Shoulders
day 4 : rest
start over

I do cardio on days 1 and 3. Is this a good workout split or does anyone have better suggestions? Also I'd be very interested if anyone knew some good leg workouts that are easy on the knees. I have a bad knee from playing lacrosse and even with a knee brace it's really painful to do squats and lunges.

Thanks in advance for any help.
